Oh my. Very moving, a few good laughs. (love it when he goes to the store in his bathrobe and slippers lol -- not a spoiler)
This movie definitely pulled at my heart.. Brought to my attention how unfair life can be ,

that we can love someone with all our heart and they not love us back..doesn't make sense at the time, and for a long time afterwards..
and makes me wonder why it's so bittersweet.
I THINK THE MIXED RATINGS/COMMENTS for this movie come down to this: If you've ever had a serious relationship when

you are really in love, only to have the other person inexplicably fall OUT of love with you..or if you've been the one who fell OUT of love
..you just can relate to this movie. Sort of have had to have 'been there' on either side of the relationship.
Enjoyed that little bit at the end. Funny..and those synchronicities DO happen and , well..you gotta wonder.
ANYHOW good flick. Great acting. Love Deschanel, she's so flaky/funny..but she's pretty much typecast since Elf I think, but hey, she does the doe-eyed flake so well..Gordon-Levitt is excellent in this.

Well .. last night i was seen that movie and never expected becos of that movie i was not able to slept well.. honestly moive . its really emotional movie there are plenty of seance which touch you heart for ever.. She is soo.. awesome i mean anyone.. in the world could do anything for her.. to get her back .. i don't know why .. Tom just .. leave her. like that.. since they both know .. they are made for each others.. WHY whould ppl were doing such kind of stupid .. thing in her thier life first they all fall in love and then.. broke up . and put all the pain in heart and make thier life hell.. really.. bad.. !!
and secoundly.. i really want to see the part 2 of this moive.. in that .. i want to see that tom and autum are happy to be a couple and..that same time .. summer is realise that .. what she done..
anywny . i like whole moive.. from started to .. end.. i was felt so.. happy while i m watching this. moive.. even i copy that moive ans store in mobile when i have spare time in wrokig i prefer to watch it.. that songs are fantastic and lovely
I was excited about this movie..then i got to watch it, and got disappointed. It starts out nice but somehow in the middle it just becomes boring all the way through the end. I gave it 2/5
Two movies I have watched late at night, one on new years, the other just days before it, have somehow inspired me. To do what? No clue, but somehow I saw past the "movie" and saw the message within or something. I can't explain it further then that. Oh and the two movies were this one, obviously, and 'Surfer Dude'. Don't ask. M_M-M
The way it was made, and the actor/actresses, the song, and that it warned you that it would not be a love story but you thought it would but still you did'nt know and was in question the whole time, very good.
It was a little confucing to tho but not in a bas way!!
500 days of summer is so far from the holywood romance movies and that's what it make if so fresh and refreshing if you listen to the dialog and you really try to understand the message you will end feeling like it was well worth watch it , is not jennifer Aniston in a rob-com is more real and it kind of remind you of the times you been heart broken and that somehow has make you a better person in the fact that you grow up so quick, love the music ,
I can't believe this is splitting opinions. As far as RomComs go, this is up there with the best of them..I'm fairly surprised that some people don't like it. It was really original and funnier than I expected..

they made the trailer look really good but when you actualy watch the film you relize how much it sucks. They drag the story out to long and the ending was crap personaly i would not advise you to watch it BUT im glad that it was on here and i watched it for free and relized hoe bad it was rather then paying £5 to see it at the cinema. I love romantic films and was very disapointed in this as i fault it would be better. Over all i think that i would give it a rating of maybe 2 stars and thats me being very generous. :S but if u do decide 2 watch it hope u enjoy it and dont think it sucks as much as i do :D x x
I found this movie to be basically reality, when someone makes a U turn sometimes you don't see it coming. I love both characters and the dance scene they through in was awesome I give it two thumbs up.
This movie was far too boring for me. Firstly, the anecdotal 500 is ridiculous. It just didn't add anything, and confused me. U could easily rewind the movie back and forth, and u could still know what's going on. The whole narration is just plain boring. The girl is boring, and it was mainly about the guy. I was honestly bored with this one. I'm not gonna comment further..
Are you kidding me - the rating for this movie is a joke.
It had great potential to be very good but I don't know who directed, but it must be there first attempt or else they ran out of funds and stuffed it in at the end - I don't know but too bad. It blows me away that so many viewers actually thought it was good. Watch and judge for yourselves. 4.5/10

The movie had me feeling meloncholy at times.
Who hasn't gone through heartaches- for those who've been in love.
I really felt for Tom and could emphasize with his situation.
But, at times I wanted to get mad at his character for expecting too much when she clearly had set the boundaries.
Of course that was just the movie setting us up I guess.
The ending came together nicely.
The movie was a little long winded in my opinion, but that's coming from a males point of view of course.
