I dont know why the freaked out so much in the 70's and Stanley Kubrick had to ban! his own film! British society was a mess back then, miners strike the people had the power and England couldnt cope it was and still is a violent society, but the 70's will forever have the background cloak of ultra violence 10/10
I think that this movie is for a mature audience, its not for everyone, and you cant learn anything from it, your supposed to just be entertained. [Spoiler] Yes, rape is wrong, yes so is gangbanging, or to cut your friends, but its so perverted, its enticing, its disgusting, and i love how poetic, unique and spectacular the script, acting and the models were. Also, i have fallen madly inlove with the main character

I've wanted to watch this movie for awhile now, just didn't know the name of it.
I had seen clips on TV and have been searching for the name for quite some time.
forget that!the movie is all about karma..he rapes women and destroys live then gets broken by the government and cant do anything about it when it comes back to him so he gets his "just deserts"
A strange, disturbing flick. It's sad that there are people out there like this, causing others to be afraid in their homes and afraid outside. I rated this 6/10.
My favorite movie of all time. Kubrick was a god. I think that says a lot about the quality of the film, when 35 years later people still find it interesting. 5 stars
I must warn you, a brain is required to understand this movie.
"A Clockwork Orange" Is A Whole Other Kind Of Trip
Not sure how to describe it..It goes places that are twist and weird. It toys with your emotions a little where you should be disgusted your amused, where you should feel awkward it seems almost natural, and where you should definitely be feeling disdain for the characters you learn to cheer for them. It goes a long ways and comes full circle, 2 hours of time i feel was well spent. I'll watch this one again.
the woman was being raped, though I know I should've been deeply disturbed
, but the way he was doing things it just, I don't know, somehow seemed disney-like, therefore kind of entertaining :-/ , it was a really weird interesting film, a classic that anyone should watch definitely.
This movie took me on a weird, strange trip into the psychotic mind of Stanley Kubrick's "Alex DeLarge" and it was rather enjoyable.. I had heard a lot of hype about this movie and decided to check it out.. This movie is not for everyone, it starts off in a sick and twisted way but, after awhile you start feeling sympathy for this "monster".. It was a very interesting movie to say the least.. 4/5...
Only the second Kubrick film I have seen and I am already wondering aloud what he took before he did his work. As for the film itself weird, graphic and unique yet strangely enjoyable. Almost a tongue in cheek aspect of true horrors in the world. Brilliant acting by "our faithful narrator"
In my opinion, this is one of my favorite movies. CLASSIC all the way.

Defiantly not a movie for everyone, but everyone needs to watch it atleast once in they're lifetime!

I am a fan of Kubrick. I loved The Shinning and Full Metal Jacket, and have yet to see 2001..but this movie was not at all what I expected. It tended to drag on a little bit, but it was a good story, good script and acting, but a little too long. Although I think the best part of the movie is by far the ending! Ha-Ha, it is just great! I would probably give this movie a 3.5/5.
