A wonderful blending of the heavenly music of Mozart and solid screenwriting, complimented by a solid performance by the entire cast - especially Abraham. If you enjoy opera or Mozart in the least, this is most certainly a must-watch!! Simply a wonderful film! 4.5/5
brillant what else can one say, the only objection i have against this movie is the fact that people might forget that mozart was a brillaint prodigy ,Joannes Chrisostomus Wolfgang Gottlieb is truly a wonder child he inspired beethoven and other great composers that came after him and hes music is nothing less then brilliant and will be played forever long after the world has forgotten a micheal jackson or a tina turner or some ghetto rapper people will be still listening to Mozart.
nr4 the movshare 1 is the directors cut and it lasts ove 3 hours, it is absolutly brillant and shows a lot of never before seen scenes.
I would say this film is at least my number one or two favorite film. The script is great and the acting is wonderful. Not to mention all of the music.
Filmed in Prague with a joyous music from Mozart's phenomenal repertoire, Milos Forman's 'Amadeus' is a masterpiece of drama, intelligent and moving, handsomely filmed, competently directed, extremely well-acted, exquisitely mounted.. The script gives a thought-provoking scenario that is clever, believable and interesting.. 9.5/10.
I saw this when i was young and i never could get it out of my head.
Today i believe that this movie was the drive for my love for opera and orchestra alone.
