A must see..not very nice though..very emotional..cried in alot of places..makes you realise how short life can be and how quick things get taken away from you..so make the most of what you have and value the people you have in your life and love them and let them know that..9/10
This Film missed an opportunity to really examine the root causes of school violence, or to possibly determine any real solution to them.
Although they dropped the false claim that was brought forward about Rachael, (April), giving her life rather than denounce Christianity, there are still strong overtones of a Christian motivation behind the making of the movie.
Between their attempts to profit spiritually, and the writer monetarily off this film, I am overcome with a nausea.
Sad? Yes! But why the title?
Weren't there more personal tragedies brought on by the events, and what of those victims and their families?
Have we forgot that incidents like Columbine are probably brought on and created by the popular culture and elitist social statuses that exist in our schools. This is the true story that should have been told here rather than reinforcing the problem by the title and main characters.
I could go on and on, but I will stop with the revelation that this is why I rated this movie 1/5 and will not be including it on any Play-list.

who the real person was that was supposed to be April.
And for the ending credits.. The one for Moses Lake, WA. was false. It happened in Tacoma/Spanaway at Spanaway middle school. The young girl's boyfriend broke up with her the day before so she went to school the next morning and opened fire on him and his best friend, then herself a while later. They were around 14 and 15 years old. So sad!
it was too drawn out- i couldnt stand the lead actor with the bad haircut and greasy hair, reminded me of a young howard stern.. it was sad in spots, but then went on and on trying to be dramatic with the piano tinkleing in the background and just a camera shot of someone stareing off into space, it made me want to fast foreward it until i seen the charector move. with all the over-dramatics id want to shoot all them guys too.
What a sad world we live in - they say u r what u eat - what about what u watch? do we mimic what we see? cause tv / movies all show hate, killing, sex, no self-respect - no respect for others - have we really evolved or do we continue to repeat the same history of the world - possessions are not the answer - loving one another and helping each other along our path is what I believe we were meant to learn - maybe we see too much and we come think that its all make believe until it happens to your loved ones. will we ever learn? will we ever live in peace? God help us. 10/10
really a sad reality, what should u call them who killed all those innocent people, pshyco, no i would call them real terrorist who creates fear in common people, make their life always in fear and terror, they should also be called terrorist, i am not defending any religion or community, but what i wana say is that whoever kill innocent people is terrorist and thats it he should be treated as terrorist, not to be named to certain community, area, or religion, hope u guys may follow my point.
The end credits showing all the different schools and victims is what shocked me. Never knew there were so many..decent enough movie the acting lacked quality though. 3/5
Even though this is a pretty good movie it does have possibly 1 of the worst picture qualities of any dvd ive ever seen you can barely see any of their faces but other than that its pretty good 3/5
If you liked Elephant, then you will like this film too. A low budget production with likewise actors, mediocre however, it is based on a true story, I rate it a 3/5.
a tragedy to be sure .. happened in montreal one december .. these troubled teens need to be helped before more news worthy events happen. i remember this unfolding on CNN. . this is the jefferson high shootings. took 20 mins to be revealed . 7/10 .. worth the watch.
Excellent portrail of some very tragic events in our country's history. U almost feel more sorry for the survivors; as they have to live with what some "sicko" has done.
The movie itself wasn't to bad and was based on true events. Had it been fiction it would not have had the same effect. The best friend - the girl - she bugged me cause she wasn't a very good actress, I thought.
