i really liked this movie, my fav villan in the batman series is the Riddler, 4.5/5 and as much as i liked this movie, i thought Drew Barreymore was really annoying..anyone else agree? let me know
My favourite villian is deffinantly the riddler, obviously Heath in the dark night is awesome.. But comedy comes out on top for me always.

Excellent movie, not as good as Batman Begins and the Dark Knight, but definately the best of the old batman movies, the only con is Nicole Kidman as the "heroine" I'm not shall we say, one of her biggest fans, lol but otherwise it was a GREAT movie!
this was a good film.. val kilmer made a good batman becuz he plays such a serious style of him.. not to mention jim carey as the riddler.. great choice there.. and tommy lee as two-face.. another great choice.. chris o'donel i thought was good.. 4.5/5.. beats out the first 2 batman movies.. but christian bale is the best batman ever!!
by far one of my favorite batman films. I only have one minor gripe and that is tommy lee jones as two face. that killed it for me. everthing else is perfect. Its whacky at some points and sick in others. personally I liked Val Kilmer as Batman and had he kept the role, who knows where batman would have gone?
and Nicole Kidman looks fly as hell.9/10
I know not everybody will agree with me, but this was my favorite of the old Batman movies, and even after having seen the newer ones including the latest that just came out I still believe Batman Forever is the finest and does the best job at respecting the spirit of the comic strip while updating the myth for our times. I think the script is brilliant and it is full of great and witty lines that never get old. The Batman/Robin chemistry is perfect (and didn't work so well in the sequel to this one). It also has the greatest cast ever assembled in a Batman movie. Jim Carrey is perfectly creepy and hilarious--one of his best performances ever on film. The direction by Joel Schumaker delivers unrelenting pace and suspense sprinkled with great actions scenes and very funny moments.
This Batman is a joy to watch over and over.
I agree on some of that, but this movie is not the best Batman. I thought it was one of Jim Carrey's worst films. I do respect Joel, but he is just not good at making Batman movies. Burton and Nolan are the best choice I think. 6/10
This is my favourite Batman movie, amazing cast!! Val Kilmer is the best actor for Batman in my opinion and who couldn't love Jim Carrey as the Riddler, he was great! 55/5
I worship BATMAN and watch ever single BATMAN movie countless of time!I never seen any comic hero make it to the big picture better than BATMAN damnit I just love it,but the thing I don't like about the BATMAN movie is the next person playin BATMAN and so on untill the last one he was great.I just wish they could bring back the first guy who played BATMAN he was perfect he never smile when dress as BATMAN which all of the other BATMAN have done accept for the last one which is why he was great and both BATMAN from the first and the last played their ages of BATMAN perfectly as the younger version of bruce (whom I call the "FLASHBACK") and the mature version of bruce ( B.K.A the "PRESENT" A.K.A the rule DARK KNIGHT) just my opinion please don't hate it not good for the soul...
I watched them all more than once, and this one is my favorite. I own the DVD and I've watched it many times over the years. I can't get enough of it.
I actually consider it a perfect movie.
The action starts with a bang. The filming is great, camera angles, editing and all.

The villains are awesome and each do a great acting job:
Tommy Lee Jones is unforgettable as Two-Face, and Jim Carrey's performance as The Ridler easily eclipses that of Jack Nicholson as the Joker in the first of the tetralogy. Jim Carrey is a totally under-acknowledged comic genius. Watch his countless variations of facial expressions, tone and pitch of voice, and body poses.
Val Kilmer is the best Batman in the series, and I know that plenty of people would argue with me, but he looks great in the costume and without it, and he actually has that class and flair that Bruce Wayne is supposed to have as a suave millionaire and the other Batmans never achieved that.
Nicole Kidman pulls a great acting job as the bat's love interest. Their interplay is fantastic and their chemistry crackles on the screen, thanks in part to the great dialogs and lines they were given.
Chris O'Donnel bursts onto the screen as the perfect Robin, and we finally get to see the genesis of his character in a scene that almost brings tears to the eye. (I'd like to mention here that movies 3 and 4 were named all wrong as the title of this installment should obviously have been Batman & Robin, and it would have made perfect sense to name the last movie in the series Batman Forever!).
I credit the quality of this movie to a great screenplay, great casting and acting, and the fantastic direction of director Joel Schumacher who was clearly in top form during the creation of this film.
I can watch this movie over and over without getting tired of it.
