Not Only The Jews Suffered In The Concentration Camps
There have been scores of movies about the sufferings of the Jews and Communists under the Nazi régime, but I do not recall any others about the oppression of homosexuals. This story was enacted with such sensitivity that only the most rabid homophobic would not feel compassion for these wretched KZ prisoners.The story of the similarly persecuted and exterminated gypsies, Jehovah's Witnesses, and the mentally and physically defective not deemed fit to live (even if they were of the right, "Aryan", race), has yet to be told, (8˝/10).
it would be 2/5 stars but just because ive never seen a story quite like this, it gets extra star for being unique- and mick jagger doing cameo- as a drag queen is worth seeing. but all in all this movie was queer as a 3 dollar bill.
This movie is off the hook, captivating, truthful, and yet real..passing across the message of love, and how it can be found even in the strangest situations
I realy liked this movie. I felt sorry for the boyfriends. Max is full of himself. regaurdless of the situations given at any time..u never know what u have till its taken from you. Great movie.
