I really enjoyed this film; it was one of those films that tugged at your heartstrings and reminded me why I want to possibly do this type of work in other countries. I went to Nicaragua and taught there for a time, and seeing extreme poverty really changes a person. Clive Owen is amazing, bringing his usual style into his character and Angelina Jolie is a amazing. Her connection to the character in the movie really shines through. 5/5 for effectiveness of story, plot of story, and struggle.

Man..I can't believe she got blown up by a freakin land mine. As soon as I heard -click- that was it. You think it would have been a dud or something..but nope..KAABOOM!
European & American spent money to parties,clothes and other comforts and Asian African countries even didn't have food to eat,water to drink and comfort is just heavenly dream still every human is equal and organizations like uno takes about rights, human rights & educations.This imbalance is root cause to all crimes and terror.

10/10 chose player #4 and watch it! It's a great movie. Angelina Jolie is awesome, very brave and beautiful as always. it's a movie about famine relief and the efforts of many brave volunteers who risk their lives to save lives. Tags- UNHCR,THE RELIEFS WORKERS, refugees, third world country,CIA, corruption, famine, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Russia, starvation, cholera, Tb, typhus, diseases. Love story, some parts were based on actual real life accounts. enjoy it. again choose #4 stagevu. you must download DIVX player and it's components. don't worry..it's not full of add ware. it's a good program. works like HD DVD.
Wow. That word fits this movie perfectly. This movie is truely amazing and after watching it you feel so lucky for what you have. I couldn't believe the ending, not what I expected. 5/5

I thought it was so touching when she stopped the truck to pick up that little boy in Ethiopia. And I was shocked what they were going to do to that baby in Cambodia, it almost made me cry.

An excellent movie that really proves that no matter where you go there are those people that will never get along and care nothing about their fellow humans.
Man's inhumanity towards man. And this movie only shows a touch of it. Sad to say it will always be this way as "The love of power has overcome the power of love in this world" The world would be a better place if we were not here as a race as the rich and powerful exploit everything, including the rest of us. I also think the star crossed lovers garbage just cheapens the movie as it draws the focus from famine and plight to them. There are some other things I did not agree with either, so I'm taking off 2 3/4 point. 7.25/10.

This movie should be seen by everyone. We all take what we have for granted. This movie is not about the actors. The actors brought the movie to us to show us life in other countries. It is a beautiful and very sad movie. I am so glad that we have someone like Angelina Jolie as a UNHCR representative. She becomes one in the movie and is still one to this day. This movie has changed the way I see life. I hope it will affect more people too, and that we all realize we can do something to make a difference. Excellent movie. 5/5
Jolie is a great actor - tough yet gentle, smart yet funny. She is a total package. Good story and acting throughout. Really touching. Watch and see for yourself - I was surprised - I was not expecting this film to be as good as I feel it is! 4/5
great movie! bit of the ending missing on version 2 so watched the last bit on version 1. Downloaded great even though 65% said bad, the movie was awsome and have to agree with all the good comments made. I rate this movie 10/10. This site truely ROCKS!
I'm compelled to review even though I haven't tried to watch this movie on this site.
I loved this movie- the setting, the chemistry, the seriousness, the acting. Pretty much everything, and if I can suffer through youku I'll watch it again:)
I watched it again:) glad I did even with the really slow loading video. A very important message notwithstanding the romantic storyline (which was also very touching)
Amazing soundtrack from James Horner as well!
