the storyline was good, i wanted to like it but the acting by lopez was horrible. Some parts werent even believable..like

how these indigenous people understand and speak english and some how jennifer lopez character speaks very little spanish but is able to understand and speak it

The zshare is not this film, dnt have a clue what it is..and found that tudou ddnt work very well and kept stopping to buffer..so cldnt watch the film..

this movie was so crazy! the things that those girls go through, and to find out the statistics on what really happens down there, makes me want to puke! this was such a good and true telling movie. J-Lo did great
Very touching movie very good acting. Very sad what happens in some of those 3rd world countries. It did need however subtitles luckily for me I speak spanish, but someone who does not would probably still enjoy the movie, because it was easy to follow, but would have a tougher time.
3/5, i've never heard of this movie. i think Lopez has shown that she really can act. NAFTA was a political hot potato, so i wonder if this film has some propaganda to it?
i watched this film, in anticipation and hope. it is truly sad to think that women in this day and age are still subjected to such things. my heart goes out to all the people who have been affected by this continious tragedy. i only hope that something van be done to change what is happening. great acting. at least the story is being told
I think they did a great job with this movie. I read in one of the comments from someone that lives in Juarez Mexico that the murders did not have much to do with the night life and that it depicted their town. In watching the movie, I did not see it that way at all. To me, it had nothing to do with the night life nor did the movie portray that in any way. Also, I don't think it made the town look bad. There were some horrific murders against women going on there that were being covered up and continue to this day. In my own opinion, It could be happening anywhere in the world and is. My heart goes out to all those involved and to all those it may affect in the future.
really enjoyed this movie and it was a sad story that even now we are still hearing about in the news- just wish toudo's last 2 parts had worked better - thanks HULU for having this available and am going to rent ASAP
Extremely good movie, great acting and very tragic!! I wish there was more english, but i kinda read their faces to keep up with the story. It makes me glad to be living in a free country..i hope it always is free.
