This movie explored some of the most interesting aspects. Was DeSalvo the strangler? Did he know who was? He waited too late and we will probably never know the truth.
Pretty cool movie which gives more facts than previous movies about the Boston strangler case. I feel like the same as at least with one other member's comment that

Frank, his cell mate, may have actually been the Boston Strangler. This movie can be dull at times but not for lengthy periods. Anyone who follows serial killer trials and watches subsequent movies would enjoy this movie as it the closest depicted movie I've seen as relates to The Boston Strangler.
It had potential but just wasnt all that gripping. I watched it until part 2 and shut it off. Acting was moderate for the most part..oh and I am from the boston area..they slaughtered the boston accent for sure, LOL. Just horribly.
I agree it was okay..I liked seeing old Bud Bundy again in something..but the accents were a bit over the top and it did drag in places..3/5..could have been a lot better..
This movie is an fact based account which shows that Albert De Salvo was not the strangler and that the Boston Strangler has not been caught to date!

This is a good movie with actors depicting both all those involved in the case investigation along with actors portraying criminals who may have been the strangler. It also shows in some detail how De Salvo was tried and imprisoned as the "Boston Strangler". I thought the actors did a great job revealing this untold story. This movie has inspired me to research the "Boston Strangler". Recommended to watch for those who want the truth rather than to continue to think that the Boston Strangler case has been solved.
for some reason this adaptation didn't work for me i watched the whole movie the story seem to agh! why would anybody do that. The cell mate dude in the funny farm fill this guy head with total bull I cant believe this albert desalvo was that dumb bad version i rate c- like a bad book report
