First off .. David Bowie rawks. Any soundtrack with him on it is a few stars, lol. This was one of my favories flicks as a kid and watching it nowadays takes me back.

Also, on the topic of cat movies, there's a really good edger allen poe cat movie on vohe i saw some time ago - i forget what thats called too.
well, i've always wanted to watch the 1982 version, since thats not on veoh, luckily you can find it on youtube. i don't know how to put up the link here, but hopefully the admin can help with that. all 10 parts on youtube!

I have heard about this so called "cat people" movie for years now..it was on tv a couple of weeks ago, and I watched it. All I have to say is..wtf..it was on the corny side. If there was ever a film that needed to be remade, than the films that have been remade 3 times already ..it's this one! They could hook up the special effects and everything.

(The 1982 version) Excellent film starring Nastassja Kinski, Malcolm McDowell and John Heard, the theme song features lyrics and vocals by David Bowie, an intriguing tale that I rate it a 4/5.
This link is for the original 1942 Cat People, not the 1982 remake. To me the original version is superior in every way. The remake relied too much on the sex, and was much more unnecessarily gratuitous. 4/5 for this one, a classic
I actually found this movie interesting. If you don't have a love for cats that seems almost obsessive at times, you won't get as much out of it. Pretty good movie, it was well worth my time.
This movie literally took me two days to watch. I just couldn't stay awake to watch the whole thing in full. I can't believe Annette O'Toole was in this film. This movie was so horrible it was great. It's like watching Black Belt Jones but worse..I am glad I can now say I watched it. Just another movie to add to my repertoire. Be forewarned it is slow with no action and the story line can barely be called a story line..
