Sometimes "truth is stranger than fiction," this movie was well done in every way. Great job by Angelina Jolie, she should have won an award for this one.
A solid movie on every front: a great story about justice (and a scary lapse of it in the US in the late 1920's), moral character of both a mother and her son, "truth is stranger than fiction" plot twists, great acting, script, camera work, etc, etc. It's not a movie that will stand out as something so "really different" that I will remember it for a long time though.
very excellent acting and script. i like that its a true story. that made it very sad! angie is such a wonderful actress! its very sad, scary and upsetting that there are really people like that in the world - the police and the bad guy - that you have to watch out for. and kudos to the real christine collins for sticking to her guns and never giving up!!
Without a doubt, one of the best movies i've watched to date. The fact that is a based on a true story makes it even more sad and confirms how corrupt the police can be. I was deeply touched by this movie and cannot fault it at all. Great work by Clint Eastwood. 10/10
This is a great movie that had me losing my temper because of the way that Ms Collings (Collins?) was treated and acted. After finishing shouting at the PC, I then got cross about a whole pile of other things in the movie! (mostly the way that people were socially educated in the past - and still some today!). A film that will have you watching right up to the end of it! I did not explode in the end, but my expletives turned the air in my room quite blue! A great one to watch.
I decided to research the story after watching this film.
The truth behind this movie was full of more twists than Hollywood could even embellish.
Christine Collins story is every parents nightmare come true.
Mr. Eastwood did a fine job recreating one of the darkest moments in the history of Los Angeles and the LAPD.
The sad part is that its a trrue story..This is a movie you shoudnt miss u have to see it,,very recomended and very worth watching..Very touching and depressing..i loved this movie..WATCH IT !
too bad its true. i guess i should man up and admit this story made me wanna cry. i came close but i held it together lol .. it had nothing 2 do with my wife being in the room lol. i think its safe to say this movie is one of the best you will see. to say this story was powerful would be an understatement. WATCH IT!!

angelina did a great job as always, clint eastwood is a great director and this movie proves it. rate it 100/10. EVERYONE should watch this movie and if you dont think it is a great movie then you probably do not have a soul.
