now ussally i am not into these type of movies the whole slasher thing and stuff like that i just dont think the plot or the movies are that good however this one has always done it for me i actully saw all the other ones before i saw this one and it all makes sense now really a very creppy movie expecilly when you watch it in a dark basement the one scene were he is under the couch did it for me all in all this is a must watch i will give it 8.75 stars out of ten
Did you know " CHUCKY" was based on a real case of a demonic doll ? Yes people It's true, obviously Chucky movies are all fiction accept for the fact that a real case was investigated by two very famous demonologist. The doll was a large raggedy anne. The two nurses who owned her treated her just like a real child. The doll was allegedly "Possessed" by a demon pretending to be a dead girl named Annebell. After a roommate was attacked with a knife by the doll, the 3 roommates contacted a priest who then referred them to the famous married couple. The demonologist claimed they witnessed the doll talking and moving on her own. apparently, a demon was lurking inside the doll causing the paranormal activity. Anyway, that doll was the inspiration behind Child's play and the Chucky movies. all child's play and chucky movies can be found on my playlist named. 'Movies I like" or search them here.
Love it, love it, love it! When I was a little kid at the movie store, just looking at the Child's Play movie cases would scare the daylights out of me. Several years later, I own the entire series and agree that they (as well as Nightmare on Elm Street) are my favourite horror franchise!
I hope they do a remake of Child's Play soon! They could do great things with it!
I watched this movie when I was 3. Let's just say that I threw away all my dolls afterwards.
Then when I was 7, my cousin was watching it, and I recognized it. And when I told him, he tricked me into watching it again by saying that it's a comedy sequel where chuckie turns into a good-guy Santa Clause doll.
I love horror movies, but to this day, I can never ever face watching this movie again.
I remember one of the first movie i watch in the cinema whas this movie.
All of the Child's Play movies are awseome and this one is the best 5/5 Stars.
I only saw bits and pieces of this on TV when I was a kid. So I gave the whole thing a shot and it was awesome! Actually more of a comedy really, but had it's freaky moments. One of a kind horror and it gets a 5/5 from me!
