SAW THIS MOVIE WHEN I WAS A KID. I NOW HAVE IT ON DVD. I TOLD MY GIRLFRIEND IF ELIZABETH TAYLOR WANTED I'D MARRY HER RIGHT NOW. AND I MEAN IT. HAA!! SHE'S FREAKIN' GORGEOUS. I ALWAYS NOTICE IN HER MOVIES HER SKINNY LITTLE WAIST. CHECK HER OUT IN "ELEPHANT WALK". YOU'LL BE PISSED AT HER HUSBAND FOR SURE. I WAS??
OTHER EPICS THAT YOU COULD COMPARE IT TOO WOULD PROBABLY BE "GONE WITH THE WIND" , "BEN HUR", "THE TEN COMMANDMENTS", "DAVID AND BATHSHEEBA" & SO ON.. ALL WHICH IS PRETTY OLD SCHOOL. DON'T KNOW OF ANYTHING NEW THAT COULD EVEN COMPARE.
i first saw this movie when i was 6 years old..i couldn't understand many of the things but one thing remained etched on my mind forever..the spellbinding beauty of Cleopatra (Elizabeth Taylor) and her tragic death..and the love she lost..i don't think anybody can rate this movie..
Still captivates our generation thousands of years later. What an awe-inspriing story, and delivered in an excellent fashion!! Solid acting and great story!! 4.5/5
