not bad, not great but good enough to watch and pass time.. hopefully couples that watch this film together will gain some perspective of what they have in one another--

Yes, it is true that once you've seen one Vince Vaughn movie, you have seen them all.
With that said I still love it and any Vince Vaughn movie for that matter!
I will DEF watch this again.

i honestly expected a lot better..i mean, with this idea and cast it couldve been alot less..corny

jus OKAY..watchable, funny sometimes, but not THAT funny..
Honestly, there's really a big rating of people NOT liking this movie. And I admit, Jason Bateman and Vince Vaughn are old, if you've seen one of their comedies, you've pretty much seen them all.
However, Couples Retreat was actually a good movie. I laughed out loud 3 or 4 times because the joke was that funny but that's about it. The rest of the movie was an easy going comedy, just something you watch for fun to pass the time or as entertainment while eating at home. Most adults or actual married couples seem to hate this movie. There's no real focus group for the film but I'd have to say the ages between 17~20 something would appreciate this movie most.
All in all? 7/10. Some may this is a generous rating but I don't think so. This movie was very entertaining. And usually I wanna punch Vince Vaughn in the face in his movies but this time I liked him.
Ages 17-20?? Seriously?? This is quite obviously aimed at young couples from 20-35. ot that funny not that clever, bog standard comedy good to fill a rainy afternoon.
I like it but it was really slow at some points. at the end when the little kids is on the tolliet and asked for help to get his shirt off that cracked me up. I work at a daycare and there is a boy there that has to be naked to go #2
It good to watch at leaste once.
I love Jason Bateman, Vince Vaughan is a good actor and Kristen Davis is always a delight but.. this movie was lacking in comedy and plot. I loved the scenery though, what a fantastic location. Not worth a watch, the trailers included every good part of this movie.
kinda disappointed. definitely a few good laughs but also definitely some really boring and cheesy parts. seems like with this cast they could have done a lot better
