this was very informative.. i think anyone who keep claiming sets and false claiming need to take sum time out and get the facts.. the black panther jawn was good too but this is sumthing for the kids to watch so they wont make the same mistakes that our generation and the generation before use took.. 10/10
very tru and real deep story to be told very sad but very real worth a watch tto learn a lot bout this country and wats goin on in the hood like ice cube said ether they know or just dont care bout wats goin on in the hood
Very good and very informative. Its funny how someone can be shown historical, political and social stimuli in an environment that lead persons to act a certain way and still make narrow-minded and stupid comments. Ironically enough, some people who are involved in gangs have that same narrow minded attitude that causes them not to be able to see a way out.
There are prisons in the USA were the inmates run the whole prison, much to the submission of the wardens and staff they abide to keep things in control. the gang problem is the same. the gangs live in territories they do not leave for years maybe never unless its in a ambulance.the so called war on gangs is only a political play to satisfy ppl who have never in their life seen a real gang or gang member. its easy to pull off because nobody is going to go to these areas to see if it is working or not. like asking someone who works around toxic waste all day if they are doing job right, whatever they tell u its the truth to you.
Califonia has learned its lesson and it wont allow another uprising because the 3rd wont be the charm. anger on both sides will erupt beyond control. so to keep things from getting to a riot fever the gangs are allowed to do whatever the suits fell they need to in safe parameters. the guns the drugs oh theyll find there way in via the suits and higher ups but any sprawling to the well to do areas is not an option and any such attempt will be dealt with. the Bloods and Crips uniting is not what they want.
its safer and far more lucrative to keep them in that position for the government and police. why risk another inspirational movement among Black PPL? its doesnt matter what color the presidents father was trust me he doesnt want that either. the gangs in LA will continue the cycle until it effects an upstanding lily white person to give the SWAT teams the National Guard and police dept the green light to sweep them out.
but until that first blood strike happens this internal prison will continue to be run by the inmates. who many will never leave.
so let me rethink this, so they could not join the scouts, so instead the made there own club/gang , and they all went violent ? because that one guy at the start says "now we had power cause now we had the numbers" so these guys were not out to do anything good, they were not out to sell cookies for charity or helping grandma cross the street or anything, these guys made it very clear it was about power.
and instead of making this world a better place, because people were racist against them, they started to be racist against other black people from other clubs..
so they are no better then white people that are racist are they, infact they really should know better havign experienced racist first hand, so infact these guys are even worse.
they made it also very clear from the start it was all about fighting and power..
now the big question is, why does no one stop these guys, all these guys are wearing blue or red bandanas so pick them up charge them with being a member of a criminal orginisation and be done with them..
i thought the same thing about the cub scout thing
but as to picking up gang members and charging them, the "bricks and mortar" solution doesnt work, we cant jsut hide them all away, cant imagine how expensive thatd be but also, even if u did have a decade of peaces bc there all locked up, its just gunna start again bc of the living conditions and nonprivlages they grow up in
That was a walk through the past and the present for all those that do not know why we are living in the life of struggle today. However, there is always room for change and I miss all my family members and friends that I have lots to the streets of DC so I can definately feel the pain and willing to help make the change. It is just as it says..made here. I see a lot of people want to talk about it, but no one even bothered to mention anything at all about one of the most important things..just before the credits rolled, it asked if you would like to help to go to the web site..ww.cripsandbloodsmovie.com. It isn't just about being in a gang..it's about how everyone has ignored the real issues at hand and never cared enough to step in and help do something about it. different than what i expected . 4/5 . needed to show more criminal descripitions of what these young men were doing at the times involved . good to know the riot started with a dui suspect getting his car impounded . bad timimg perhaps . good luck to south central . mothers hug your kids .
hey i can relate to this not because of gangs and all but i live in Jamaica and in the 1970s the US government thought we were going communist because our government was very close to Cuba, they and this is a proven fact destablize our country supplying guns and ammunitions in order to break the ties that our government had with cuba the sad thing is we never recovered even after our government was toppled, so i KNOW that what was said about Hoover was correct the CIA and the FBI. what they can't control they let them destroy themselves. its a shame though you have some many media houses and not one would try to investigate the root causes and why the government would not do something about the comditions. but know this POVERTY CAUSES CRIME AND VIOLENCE!!
It is a shame that all this is going on and not much is being done about it. Men need to start stepping up and be there for thier kids and live for them and show them the right way to live instead of showing these kids how to live for the streets, and women need to start watching their children better and keeping them out of the streets and stop chasing men, or smoking crack, or what ever it is they do to why their kids are in the streets more than at home, and that alone would be a start to the problem. Also people need to stop making excuses to why they act this way, what about the people that they robbed or killed that wasn't even doing anything to them or was just passing by.
people over in these gangs in L.A. and in other poverty ridden areas are forced to live like this. I don't condone the fact that these people are doing this because to rob and destroy the next man or woman who is struggling to survive as you are isn't what i'm saying. What do you do when you are forced to survive with nothing? Again i'm not backing the actions of gangs or individuals who participate in gang related activity, but what are they to do? Unemployment on the west coast is higher then anywhere else in the continental United States and it's all due to shifty, selfish, greedy individuals who only wish to manipulate things in order to gain power and profit in some way over all of us. This is truly sad when you have 12 million people out of 6 billion on the earth who hold 80% of the world's wealth. If money was water most of the world would have died off. 5/5 stars!
