Dreamgirls was great. Jennifer Hudson is amazing and I never really knew that Eddie Murphy could sing. The cast was really great and the songs were brilliant. With the combination of the plot, costumes, and riveting drama, this movie needs to get a 9/10
very good movie great acting too and the songs were very beautiful i enjoyed this movie very much and i can watch this movie over and over again it never gets bored and it,s truly inspirational
I over looked this movie so many time, but I'm proud to say I enjoyed it and my girl loved it also, now I need to break the dvd cause she likes it too much way too much >=] 5/5
I couldn't agree more. Jennifer Hudson is blessed to be able to use her voice as an instrument!! She did great for this to be her 1st movie. Overall I gave the movie 4 1/2 stars.
watched it some many times, still makes me tearful at the end.. what a performance by all, beyonce should of got an oscar too, but Jennifer was awesome.. hopes she makes it all the way.. love her

I'm not the biggest musical fan, but this was pretty good. There was times when I longed for them to act more instead of singing their lines and emotions but that too was ok. Of course Jennifer stole the show and deserved the Oscar. But I must admit though Beyonce didn't have many speaking parts(I'm sure for a reason, lol) there where times I forgot that it was her, and that's the key to acting. She still has a long way to go in terms of acting but she might make it.

who found her heart at the end when she gained all the fame she hankered after.
J. Hudson = Whiny Ms "The World Dun Love Me"
The "Curtis" fellow = Unscrupulous bast*rd
But of course, at the end of it all, this was J. Hudson's movie and no amount of competition from the rest of the cast could deny it or take it away from her.
That girl has tremendous vocals and she definitely used it to her advantage.
Besides, Beyonce didn't have much of depth (in terms of personality) in the movie. Only when she sang the song "Listen" did the real Beyonce really shine thru.
It's a good movie with great sounding music. The soundtrack is worth getting if you are into real soul music.. I give the movie a 4/5. Worth watching. :)
