This was the first Johnny Depp movie that I had watched.. and I knew it right from that day that Johnny is a distinguished actor with a class act. He proved this in the years ahead.
Johnny Depp made his name in A Nightmare On Elm Street.
Robert Smith from The Cure always reminds me of Edward Scissorhands. I watched this as a kid and i was fascinated, couldn't take my eyes off the screen.
If this film doesn't affect you then you are made of stone.
Only my opinion.
This was one of my fave childhood movies, a very unusually creative, fantastical, magical movie well directed by Tim Burton. It is unforgettable and i never get tired of watching it, its still my fave to this day.
In a way yes this is a classic tale of love, the kind that goes deep into your soul and ya just can't seem to let it go.
Johnny Depp did a fantastic job, he was so young still.. He brings a depth to each and every character that he portrays. The mystery of Edward, the silly fun of the neighborhood ladies, the jerk boyfriend.. all of it was just so very entertaining.
After watching this movie again, I still cry. I know it's make believe but once you have loved and lost it hits ya right there.. anyway.. WATCH IT! 5/5 stars absolutely.
Has anyone notcied that Tim Burton is always working with Johnny Depp? And there are so many movies where they are collaborating! I mean, and also, why are all of of Tim Burton's movies dark and has the potential to give you nightmares? Batman, Batman Returns-definately- ANBC, Sweeney Todd, this, and so much more. Is that like his style or something? I don't get it at all. Anyway, classic movie. Classic! Another example why movies and shows in the 90's was prime! 5/5
Tim Burton is the only one who can stain our everyday life with a pinch of magic and fairytale. His movies got that enchanted atmospheres of old fables. I love the Gothic-like elements which are always hinted in his creations.
It is a binding tale for everyone.
I remember watching this movie 8 years ago and loving it..and now I watched it agen and loved it even more..defenetly one of my favourites..5/5 stars from me..
i watched this movie when i was just a little kid and now, when i watch it again it has the same effect like then, it makes me cry. i love this movie. now i know why it was my favorite and still is.

i wont watch it now as it..may even be different and not as good as i remember and may destroy my thoughts on it lool soo just incase.
