although the book and movie are really different from each other i love them both!! the is one of anne hathaways best movies!! and i thinks its good for many ages!!
I had read the book before this movie came out. I felt in love with the author: LEVINE - who has written many other great books. This one was one that i enjoyed reading. The movie was ok, didn't follow through with some parts of the book, but what movie is exactly like it? he he. Anyways it was still great.
Good movie 9/10.. Still at this age I cannot stop loving fairytale.. I just love it when I see the "Happily Ever After" sign.. LoL though I wonder if it really is a happily ever after ^_^
Ella Enchanted was a good movie in its own way, but it was nothing like the book which disappointed me greatly. Otherwise, the movie is great for a family movie. 7.5/10
This movie was such a massacre of the book! Gail Carson Levine's novel was nothing like this..I know that movies are never like the books but this destroyed everything that I loved about this book. I mean this is suppost to be based off of the novel.. I think the only thing they got right was 1) Ella obeys 2) she gets step-sisters 3) Char and her fall in love..oh and she meets ogres and elves. I first read the book when it first came out..and loved it. I was so excited that they were going to make this into a movie but, like I said, massacred.
This was a cute movie and I liked the moral of the story that we have the power to change within ourselves. You can't blame everything on God. "God made me fat." BS. You have the power to change you and no one else. I couldn't sit through the corney song at the end it was a little over the top but still a cute movie.
great movie and it was very cute.. this movie is perfect for any one an any age .. defint movie to watch over and over again without getting tired of it at all..!! :)
