The walking dead aren't scary ..they can actually be quite amusing! The premise of "Fido" is so fantastic you almost forgive the shortcomings of the movie itself. Set in the 1950's, in a world where zombies are controlled and used as house maids. What makes this film unique is not only the magnificent script, but the unusual pastoral color scheme that explodes and lights up the screen.
Don't miss out on a funny, vibrant, colorful, bloody good time. 5/5
Don't let the title and cover poster put you off. You'll miss out on one of the best comedy films around. Billy Connolly! What a riot! I don't think I've laughed so much in days!
What a lovely gem of a movie!
This is a wonderful example of black comedy. The 1950's setting made it easier to carry off.
I don't think there was one minute of extraneous film time. Solid.
Horror comes in many forms. The 1950's version of what was the perfect wife, child, husband, home, neighbor, town, and so on is the horror here.
I'm adding this to my play list!

i like zombies movies so when i found this one in a used video store,i bought it and it turned out to be a good movie! Its cute and its silly and
its one of my favorite comedy/zombie movie!
CANADIAN ZOMBIE MOVIE, AS GOOD AS LABAT'S LIGHT..IN A CAN!
THIS MOVIE STARTED OFF PROMISING. THE OPENING SEQUENCE WAS FUNNY AND THE ONE LINER "CAREFULL MRS. ROBINSON, THAT'S NO LONGER THE MAN YOU MARRIED" WAS HILARIOUS, AND THEN..IT JUST DIES. THE KID ACTOR WAS HORRIABLE. AND THE WHOLE MOVIE WAS JUST BORING TO ME. DID NOT KEEP ME ENTERTAINED ENOUGH TO WATCH THE END, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU COULD TELL WHERE THIS TRAIN WRECK WAS GOING. WELL, I WAS DECIEVED BY THE LOOKS OF TGHIS ONE, SO VIEWERS BEWARE. UNLESS YOU WANT TO SQUEZE ALL THE HUMOR YOU CAN OUT OF THIS ONE TO DEATH, JUST SKIP IT!
is so original. the idea is not to be scary. it is funny as hell. and the idea of uncontrollable zombies is a curious and inventive idea. it goes right with the zombie comedy collection ( ie.shaun of the dead).

If you like zombie comedies such as Shaun of the Dead then you'll probably like this. If you are looking for a gore fest, choose another movie. Good change of pace. 4/5
