Wow when I first watched this movie I was so young I didnt even realise that this movie had so much depth. Its good to watch it now when I'm older and see it for more than just the action.
The book has a different ending to this.. but the movie ending works too!!..the dumb cop thought Rambo was a homeless loser little did he know he was bullying a one man army lol
I have seen this movie many times ..its one of those movies like Gladiator, rocky and die hard where you can watch it with a few beers and unleash the alpha male in you lol
This movie more or less gave birth to the ONE MAN ARMY genre and of course a lot of those films abused it but this film was about a living breathing computer that had no off switch. plus it doesnt hurt that Sly Stallone embodies John Rambo by doing so much by saying so little. his declaration at the end is truly heart breaking and only those who have been in a war can really relate. and lastly man he just wanted a sandwich!
Well said. A great start to the story and tthe movies trhat followed. However a person who has never been in a war can appreciate where he is coming from.
the veitnam vets were treated even worse than portrayed in the movie i have family that was there , and i have heard stories as well as screams from the nightmares these soldiers still have to all the vietnam vetrans who happen to read this "welcome home", sorry for all the hell that you all went thru ,this country owes you all a great deal of respect..as for the movie it is an awesome flick that portrays just how far one can be pushed before they will PUSH BACK ..lol 5/5
