i caught this on cable the other day,and i thought it was a very good movie,surprisingly entertaining and well worth watching..i will never look at a windshield or a ford the same again.haha 3.4/5
Man am I glad I checked this movie out! Ford was trying to pull some evil crap!I'm so glad that Mr. Kearns kept fighting! Those who doubted him were WRONG! HA! Justice was served!! :-)
very great strong stroy base of events of real true life read about it in the detroit papers won the trial and thats some of what the movie and some very good acting is about very touching to the ending today.
Great TRUE story, but at a running time of 120 minutes, just a tad to long for a story that doesnt justify the run time. It's worth watching once, but sadly won't make anyone's DVD collection.

. what a great film, about how the intermittent wiper came to be. oh and a little known fact about the windshield wiper itself, it was originaly created by a woman.
This film is amazing proberly one of the best of 2008 and even 2009 10/10, great acting by kinnear and the story was good but a bit sad and shows how big companies can screw people over.
Incredible movie very heartfelt. it really showed the message of never giving up. most movies like this turn out way to cheesy or just plain suck but this movie made you really get really attached to the character. 5/5
If you like a great drama story, this one fits. A good message taught here that you should never give up, no matter the situation. Kinnear's character was so strong, he did a super job playing his part. 5/5
If you like a true story movie then this is a classic. Based on one of the most simplest inventions that we all take for granted today! shows how some big companys can rip of your ideas and often get away with it.

Had I knon about this in 1992 I would never have bought that 92 5.0 Mustang GT back then the 2010 Chevy Camero is looking alot better now. In court he should have stated "It;s not about money in fact Fords rep was in my house just last night offering us 30 million dollars it's about whats right . That might a got him 50 mil.

Amazing movie indeed. and I agree with most of the comments here that this was one of Greg Kinnear's best performances. I loved every single minute of that movie and found it to be truly inspiring..
That being said, I have a comment about the story itself. American couples really amaze me sometimes. I have seen countless movies like this one (many of them are based on true facts) where they say the "LOVE" word SO DAMN MUCH!! But when it comes to showing it, when one of them is fighting really hard for what he or she believes in, the other bales out! And then they say it's best for the family... SCREW THAT, it's just giving up for selfish reasons...
That man was fighting for what he believed in, for what was right.. and his wife says: "fix it and we'll see" WTF?! I mean isn't he part of the family? isn't his dream part of the family's?! so why is it that when he fights for that dream, he's treated as someone who's selfish?!!
I SINCERELY hated her for what she did, I don't care if she's dead or alive, that man deserved more.. It's just funny how much they say I LOVE YOU, and how little they mean it..
