Very nice dancing in the movie but what I thought was really unusual was the fact that she's supposed to be 18 and he looks at least 40. A little odd..and she has a job as a wielder and an exotic stripper, did a man write this script? :D
great movie 5/5 i was 3 yrs old when this movie came out i just watched it for the 1st time and to my surprise i knew almost every song on the sound track
I was watching this with my mom and couldn't help but think that she was my age when she saw this and i was no where around and now i am watching it with her for the first time at the same age lol. Great movie though
As you watch theis movie, keep in mind that there was no MTV, no VH1 and no rap music as we know it today. This movie is really a character study, with some good music and dance thrown in. But it is worth a watch as it is an iconic movie, like "Dirty Dancing". Dated, but still relevent.
This is the first time that I've ever seen this movie, It was really good. I love dance movies, but at least now the actors get to do their own dancing. Good enjoyment. 7/10
I saw this movie when I was 18 and a dancer, I was amazed and dancing on my seat. Now I'm older and saw it again, and thought why was I so amazed at this? But still a good movie at least for the time it was filmed when the dance movies (80's) were a boom.
