I must be honest. I read a lot of the reviews and almost did not watch this movie. I will agree it takes people with open minds (chemically or spiritually assisted) to watch this movie. It took me several breaks to get to the end but I did. Acting was decent, characters well thought out (and actually true to life situations) and the Plot quite interesting. Not a lot of skin (sniff, sniff) but OK overall. Don't know that I could recommend it as a favorite. However, would recommend it to film students.
Shows the meaning of true friends, sweet revenge and never give up on finding that special person. Thought this would be a one of those boring movies, but it nope. This was really a Good one I think if you want to laugh and say alright . GIVE THIS ONE A WATCH. Trust me its not a sloopy sweet love story either. So its a guy or girl movie. One you dont feel like shes sending you some hints on long term comitiments or vise versa.
I believe this film deserves a higher rating than it's been given.. very funny, a "thinkers film" and if you can wait for the prize, it will come.. it's PRICELESS.. lol *smirks*
Seriously WTF. I could make a better movie with my camcorder and a group of homeless people. My god I want the 15 mins of my life back I wasted on this crap!
I LOVE THIS MOVIE. Yes, low budget, but with the witty, sparkling dialogue, who needs big bucks? memorable characters, effortless plot, and oh yeah, did I mention the brilliant and hilarious banter?? Whoever wrote the script for this flick gets major kudos for dialogue. I give it an A -, 4.25 stars out of 5.

Cute movie..! Yes, maybe low budget, however characters were believable, (for the most part). Gay club, brief nudity, psycho ex-girlfriend, cool music store...Did I mention Jack Black as "Chainsaw", who gets all the girls..? Graded it a "B". Thank you director for something different. (blank) those people who do not understand art.
wtf, jack black! as chainsaw? have u ever seen jack black cos that certainly was not him!! as for the movie 1/5 couldn't get past 20 mins just to boring
For the budget they made this for I think its awesome I looked it up and it was shot for 12 grand not bad production value for 12 grand in my opinion. I thought it was really funny I am sure people will knock it but its made for people with a subtle sense of humor basically if you liked deuce bigalow you probably wont like this but if you find wes anderson or kevin smith funny you probably will love this
Should have made the movie around chainsaw & the Doitchlander Froleins ! Not too funny , 1 star is poor , 3 stars is worth watching , 2 stars = nothing special .It's like your bored and you need to be entertained before you gnaw your own arm off , like an animal caught in a leg hold trap . You start watching " Flokin Magrat " , then you really want to jump into the screen and ask if they'll flog you while you chew your own arm off . Not the Ping pong arm !
