Devastated Peter takes a Hawaii vacation in order to deal with recent break-up with his TV star girlfriend, Sarah. Little does he know Sarah's traveling to the same resort as her ex ... and she's bringing along her new boyfriend.
We put off watching this for months here on the site; we finally saw it today (probably thanks to Craig Ferguson for 'interviewing' a lot of these actors, esp. Miss Kristin lately and Jason just last night - who All have a natural, great sense of humour) - It was hilarious and sweet (sex was NOT that big a part of it contrary to some comments; it was only done in a funny way with innuendo and words in general; the joke WAS Jason's full frontal)- and made us all smile and laugh a lot - I hate my ex
This is the funniest movie of 2008. It's not only a funny raunchy sex comedy. It's also a feel good movie. There's no way you can watch this and not smile. Jason Segel is one of the bes leading men in comedy today alongside Paul Rudd which are both in "I Love You, Man" another GREAT film by the two. BIG thumbs up. I LOVED THIS MOVIE
Im not sure why people don't find this movie great.. maybe its just my type of humor! It runs right up there with Superbad on comedy. There might be a bunch of immature jokes but those are the funniest parts of the movie.

In a lot of ways it reminded me of "Zack and Miri make a porno" although this was a lot sweeter. I'll definitely be watching this again, probably the next time I get down in the dumps

about the fact that I'm still in love with my ex.. after 2 years I still can't move on and she was shacked up with her new guy (a sodding American) after just 2 months

And man, was that hotel receptionist chick hot or what? She gets a 5 out of 5 !
This movie was pretty good. I like how this movie is about trying to move on and letting go. I felt like this movie had a lot of meaning to it. so yeah Good film. Just too much sexual stuff in there that i don't like..
it is super predictable which makes it boring.
the characters are cute at first but then you find yourself wishing to speed up this movie.
not much comedy, gets a little pathetic, and can make you easily disinterested like i felt.
This film was a complete waste of my time. I had to turn it off after about 40 mintues..tasteless, crude, the storyline is unoriginal. I wouldn't recommend this film to anyone.
It's not usual comedy, very funny, you sholud absolutely watch it :0)

loved it, great story, funny and sad, great to see horrible people getting what they deserve, the type id say doesnt deserve anyone. Nice when a nice guy ends up happy at last:)
This was not that good movie. i expected a loT better but turned out way sloww & pissed off & lazy & more sloww & LAME! Russell shpuld have been more active! That lazy looking son of a b itch made this whole film "Type LazY".
