This movie was awesome. Very inspirational and I love that it shows all the flaws of the characters, and not just epitomize the inspirational teachers like they have no flaws.

Excellent movie. I especially liked that they did not paint Erin Gruwell as some perfect person but someone with deep flaws herself, but nevertheless someone who loved her students and wanted the best for them. I also liked that they didn't try to advocate her methodology as a teacher as something others should replicate. The arguments made in this movie are part of a larger debate. It was refreshing to see an inspirational film casting such a realistic light on these issues of education.
Great movie, it really is. It just really hits home to me since the story is quite bluntly about a woman who marries when she really cares more about other things; Dempsey isn't who she loves most. But hey, does a woman, in FULL honesty, ever love her man more than everything else? Sorry, got a little personal.. Good movie though, give it a watch.
That film is amazing i cried when i watched this, it is a must must must see everyone would like it, it also shows how different people live and grow up it is so good i could watch this over and over again i would cry everytime.
this was a creepy movie and i am so proud of beyonce she has a long way to go but she is improving as an actress!! she know she wrong kissing all over that man and knowing how jeoulousy jayz is..lol. good movie but a little predictable..[spoiler]
Yes, this is a typical teacher helping gang members and addressing racial issues. The exception is that she takes a different spin on things. I like it. This was an assignment for me in a class..I'm glad I watched it! (sophomore in college)
I like the story of this movie..its really challenging and inspiring movie..the teacher make a big difference for the student who wanted to have a change in there lives and a better future..the best!!
This is one of the most heart wrenching, inspirational movies I've ever saw. It literally takes you into the life of everyone in that class room, and the people they know outside it, to show how everythings all conected. It's shocking to realise that there are teachers out there who maintain such a judgemental and harsh view on the children they're suppossed to be teaching. Their teacher is everything every teacher should be, someone who you can trust, that gives you hope and courage and actually makes you believe in yourself. That's what we need in schools, the freedom to conect with people, not adults and others writing you off as a failure just because life happened. I didn't mean to write so much lol, it's just such a fantastic movie. 10/10 without a doubt.
