absolutely awesome, didn't see the ending coming, kinda like coach carter, but with american football, i just love movies based on true stories and the sports true stories are some of the best, eg- the express, this and the blind side are but a few but some can argue that alive and bloodsport be up there too, 5/5 for this movie
This is the best football movie ever made! There isn't even a contender.. Great story inspired by real life events & the acting is very well done too.. 10/10-Doesn't even compare what it should be given..

Is one of the best football movies i have watched. If you like football, you will really like this. And it is a true story which makes it even better. I rate this a 10/10
I'm not a big football fan myself. I watch a few games now and then, I know the rules but it's just not something I follow much. With that said, this was still a fantastic movie!
Great development in all the characters with realistic dialogue. Some very emotional moments.

I love football movies .. I have seen everyone of them that has ever been made .. and if I remember correctly .. this was the first one I have ever saw .. it inspired me to actually start playing myself .. being the first female on my high school team .. this movie also made me seek out the rest of the other football films and watch everyone of them !!
My best friend and I saw this stoned in the theaters and we were both really bored and couldn't wait to go home. But then we realized..oh wait we don't even like football, so why would we like a football movie? Haha. So umm you would probably like it if you liked football.

Hard to imagine that this is the way things are in some parts of the country but I have seen it first hand where I come from and parents can get crazy where sports and their kids are concerned
