I have watched this movie repeatedly and I loved it every time. This is one of the very few times that Alan Rickman (Harry Potters Snape) does not play a bad guy. I had never noticed it before but Rainn Wilson (Dwight Shrute from the Office) plays a minor role as a Thermiam.
This movie sets out to be a fun parody of sci-fi vs reality and it wins hands down.
I've seen this movie numerous times over the years and it's still one of my favorites and I laugh just as much as I did the first time. Absolutely hilarious! It still holds up ten years later. You've seen Alan Rickman as Snape, and the first "Die Hard" villain, watch him in "Truly, Madly, Deeply". Funny, lovable and hearbreaking.
I like it very much. I just wonder how all the crap movies get second and third parts and the good ones like this have nothing? I wish they would make a second part but it should have the same actors in it. I liked the enemy ship and commander, they looked intimidating and cool at the same time. Of course I liked stormtroopers and Darth Vader too,Thats probably due to my evil nature.
I really wanted to watch this movie but the versions on here aren't working properly. It's an amazing film, it makes me laugh every time! Theres a good version on youtube if anyone can upload it to here =]
I was never a fan of those galactica and star wars type movies but this movie changed my mind. It had a little bit of everything. Go ahead and watch it if you haven't.
I'm back to watch it again! This movie is still one of the funniest movies I've seen. I don't mean knee-slapping humor or anything completely over the top, but still so awesome. the humor is as subtle as a facial expression. Everyone does such a great job. It's a class act. I actually have nothing negative to say about it at all.

Actually, this movie was pretty good. Love Star Trek and this movie parodied the sci-fi series genre. It was even funny as it neared the end when I thought it might die.
Tim Allen worked well in this movie, surprisingly!
I absolutely love this movie. I thought it was a real laugh, plus being a sci fi fan helps to I guess but anyways. this movie is good for the whole family, kids will love the whole space thing and adults will enjoy the many one liners and snide remarks.
As a fan of the Star Trek franchise, I gravitated to this film. It was utterly hilarious to watch the actors get to live out their tv roles. The acting is stellar as is the story. Well written and witty, this movie is going to go down as a comedy of cosmic proportion! 5/5
I hope you all see this movie at least once. Even those who aren't fans of Star Wars brand of Sci-Fi will stll be able to enjoy it. All ages.
It worth the time to watch this Movie,, It's great for the whole family to watch,, ya don't see to many sci-fi comedys today,, the acting was pretty good, and the Actors are not second rate. Give it a watch, I give it a 5/5 , If you have Speedbit Video Accelerator, it downloads very quickly, I had no problem watching all parts.
