Movie reminds me of running man but with a few changes and certainly flaws.I thought there would be a better ending but again, it is all from the worst to wishful thinking in these type of movies

The action sequences are a mess.You don't really get what is going on..who is against who.Running man made some sense but this one kind of goes off the ball.I found the movie pretty annoying at times but kept on.One word..nothing special.
Decent watch, I hoped for more.. Wasn't the best from Gerard.. but it was alright.. the female nudity was gratuitous, but if you've checked out Second Life it doesnt seem too far fetched lol.. its just a neurological upgrade step up. Okay, but won't buy.
That's what I read somewhere and if I find the person who said that I'll hit him upside the head with my laptop, I really don't believe that the people who made this actually played (any real) games. By the way I have "real" games such classics as Goldeneye 64, Contra, Metal Slug and Tribes to Modern Warfare 2 and Uncharted, those who know..know. Anyway this movie doesn't seem to feel the same way as any game I've played, it's seems to be over the top and serious, which never goes down well, especially with all the gore. The story itself was a pretty interesting concept, I never thought of technology going in this direction and yes that larger than life guy did disgust me..alot.
Something that I did like was the vast amount of actors that I'd seen from other movies, but didn't know their names, like the main guy from 300, the muscularly guy from white chicks(Terry Crews), that woman from Drag Me To Hell (Alison Lohman) and every time I seen that guy from 300 (Gerard Butler) I had to resist the urge to shout out "SPARTANS!"
So all in it's good story (well the concept anyway) with tones of action (though over the top sometimes) a good list of actors, it's just a shame that it didn't seem it "work" that well if you know what I mean, it just seem to bore me at times, maybe next time..
notice the playstation home sign on the bottom of that chopper, YES I watched it twice and it was better the 2nd time, I thought they should have shown more of the actual GAMER though, like the parts he was playing the game, they should have shown more, and the fat dude was just gross, the girl with all the tongue piercings was also nasty, a few othe gross parts, SOCIETY was like playstation home with real people, did you notice the narrator who said "SLAYERS" was the same voice of the cop that interrogated the GAMER kid, I'm a Killzone 2 player myself and this film reminded me of being online just killing a bunch of people I loved all the great bloody violence and crazy action. 7/10 it did end abruptly.
This Is So Much Like MK-Ultra Experiments Of Our Past!
The thought of mind control creeps me out, why would anyone chose to let other people use their body for anything some freak would do to it for money. But I guess if a mom loves her child and there is nothing else she can do she will put herself on the line to get them back, that goes for guys too when it come to making or keeping their family intact!

but the movie does (sorta) hold a new look at the genre of "kill so many people = no more prison time" Also has a few problems in the script that make the movie hard to believe (the harder it is to believe, the harder it is to get "into" the movie) Problems include:

how can that girl, let alone ANYONE, get into that high security prison (twice) to get that info to Kabel, and why would you set up a game, where you could control someone elses body, when u can set up the game to control a computer generated body (that looked however u want) and u could "interact" with the enviroment in the same way, the whole idea of controlling the bodies is just an excuse for the script to exist.
This movie was exactly what I was expecting. Loved the aspect of the entire movie. Very Urban. I Give it a 7/10. Could you imagine a world like this one? Where everything is controled? Have to admit that Death Race was a lil better though. But this movie is a good watch.
unless you are an actual GAMER you mostly won't like it, this film was made by gamers for gamers, and yeah auna still has no business commenting on these types of films, all she cares about are ticket sales, I thought it was a nice change of pace for an action film, I didn't know you could start a car like that, Gerard was awesome, Micheal Hall was awesome, the movie is awesome WAY better than Doom, 7/10 could have explained a few more things.
It was going really well, but there really isn't any buildup to it..and it seemed to end really ubrupt to me? Michael C Hall was AWWESOMME (I love Dexter)..

well, I don't play any games at all.. I prefer to go outside and brave the day. So, this movie beyond that one chick with the nice butt, does nothing for me. When I do play games, I just push the buttons randomly as fast as I can and tip my head side to side - depending on which way the car is turning.. but I do know people who live on the net and will stay there for several days at a time. I am not plugged in, but sides are being drawn regardless if whether we want them there.. I prefer to live on the fence for now on the matter, watch it if you like to see things blown up and stuff..
Didn't know if i would like this movie at first but the more i watch and made sense of it i really enjoyed it wasn't nothing like i ever seen before awesome movie the graphics were out of this world a must see also if your a gamer 8/10 rating
