This is a great movie. It was gritty and extremely violent, has all the bases covered and that isn't there in most gang movie. If you liked this try _Rise of foot soldier. I give Gangster No.1 a solid 9/10
Your description of the film was perfect. I couldn't have said it any better. This guy kinda of reminded me of the evil personality the gangster in "The Sexy Beast" movie was. Just the truly hateful type. Well I guess there aren't to many nice ways you can describe a gangster.
This is what happens when you don't get any love growing up as a child.
Well, on to the movie. It was good. I didn't feel like there were any major conflicts when it came to the timleline of the film. Good story and great actors.
Love the genre, loved the movie! What is it about those English gangster movies that makes them so clever?? Even the music makes them so cool! If you like English gangster films, this one is just different enough to make it worth the watch!
