I found this movie today just skimming the horror genre and decided to give it a watch..one hour I can spare for a asian film..and I was glad i was..my eyes were glues to the screen..and I did feel rather disgusted..but a good kind of disgusted..and I can appreciate that seeing as I can only think of a few movies to invoke such a feeling in me..the script was good..the acting was good..the gore was outstanding to me..4.5/5..5/5 for gore/graphicness..most won't be able to eat and watch this film..even though I could..I will add this to my personal collection..live it..love it..own it..
Felt like puking after watching this film, watching an artist paint a rotting mermaid and seeing the condition just continually worsen isn't a way I prefer to spend my time.
Very sick and just as twisted. The poor girl! I wonder if anyone puked when they made this movie? There wasn't really any plot, it was just one of those movies to creep your friends, family, kids.. out with. It doesn't look like he ever changed the water.. and nothing really states how or why she got the sores, or even how she got into the sewer. The movie makes me wonder what people have to be on to make something like this up. Even though I do like gore and found the idea to be quite interesting and original, maybe even a little interesting, there just wasn't enough of a plot. Gore - 5/5 Plot - 1/5. Originality 3/5. Overall - 3/5
I found overall that as a Guinea Pig Production it was quite different in style, but not nearly the calibur of Guinea Pig's "Flower of Flesh and Blood". It was a good watch and quite creative, though. The story's twist was somewhat unexpected, and I believe this film should be one of the 'Masters of Horror' though due to the fairly graphic and disturbing content it's doubtful it would be permitted on television. *sigh* such a shame..
