Gotta love Queen Latifah in this! Amanda Bynes wasn't so bad, Zack Efron (?). Nikki Blonksi was really dynamite, but John Travolta in his role, wasn't really convincing. He tried though, he tried. What I really liked about this movie and what I wasn't expecting

is that it had the undertones of race and segregation and bringing everyone together. I really liked that they had the little black girl win the contest and Penny and what's his name get together at the end as an interracial couple. O and Queen Latifah singing the song about the hog head cheese and being big and blonde had me dying ;)
The songs were definitely catchy and I thought it was a great movie overall. I can't believe I waited so long to watch it. I'd give it a 10/10
I actually liked it. Im not a huge musical person but this one kept me entertained. All the actors did a wonderful job. And John Travolta just cracks me up. 7/10
I watched it being fully prepared that it won't make me even smile, however it made me laugh at times, as well as my dear friend, with whom I watched it on hbo. It carries more serious message under the layer of cuteness and colours. I liked it.
Lol, i loved this movie, I've seen both versions of it and both are well done, but this one is more up to beat. And a lot funnier. So I gave it 5/5 and because he's hot!!

THIS FILM DID NOT SHAME THE ORIGINAL. I THOUGHT IT WAS BETTER. THE CAST IS SO FRESH AND INVITING. THE SONGS ARE CATCHY AND I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT JOHN TRAVOLTRA

The songs are so catchy.. they just make you smile. Lol.

This movie was good and lovely. John travolta looked funny when he dressed up like a mom, and he had good moves. Zac Efron was a good looking guy, nice hair. Amanda Bynes looked cute with her hair.
I would never have pictured John Travolta in 20 years going from Danny in Grease to Edna in Hairspray! I love this movie! The music is terrific! And the unknown who plays Tracey is an amazing actress and singer. One of my favorite musicals of all time!
I have to say John Travolta makes a better women than a man!
I love the songs there so easy to sing along to and the ending is the best bit.
I have to say the whole seducing thing was a bit weird.
At the end where Zac Efron kisses Nikki Blonsky you can just see a little thinking bubble coming from his head saying " I AM NOT GETTING PAID ENOUGH FOR THIS"
