I was alive during this whole egotistical rain of terror. And I watched all the film and stories. They say that Satan takes care of his own, your opinion is proof. The man is a demon.

This film about Charles Manson & his followers tells how powerful one person was over others. Manson painted a picture providing a better life when in reality he was really taking his people down a more deadly road. He was evil to the end. Many innocent people died at his hands & he did what he could to convince others in his mist that his way was the only way. A cult following is scary, & 99.9% of the time has a ending no one likes. I rated this film a 4/5.
The Manson family effectively put an end to the "Age of Aquarius". This film was well made and well acted, but nothing can compare with the real Manson's acting ability, and the script that he authored, and starred in.
Worthwhile viewing for anyone who was not around for the original crimes and for those who were around, but may need to be reminded of how one man's evil can be used to take advantage of the corruptibility of human beings.
the movie was well acted but he wasnt a genius, he was a psychopath. i dont understand how ppl can be so insecure that they can easliy be munipulated into joining a cult. this is the reason why you need to just "say NO!" so for the ppl that say that hes a genius are the kinda of ppl that he would have chosen. he had no true purpose, he was just a racist that wanted to do drugs, rob, murder, and sleep with a bunch of women.
This was made for t.v. No gore, sex, nudity, and very little cussing or blood. Bad thing about movies like this is that the people watching forget that at the first says that it been created from things that happened. The situation was far worse than they really depicted. And the events that actually happened wasn't told acurately. He did though use drugs, sex, intimadation, and enough truth to make it believable to brain wash the runaway kids and homeless people he found. he's a true blue sociopath, and the sick thing is is that he is still more famous and has more followers now than when he was doing this, what would happen if he got out?
Although i did all the instructions to view this movie, i was not able to. I downloaded veoh and logged in, but the page where the movie was at only showed the 5 minute preview. When i clicked on the link above it, it prompted me to downloaded veoh again..
i wonder if her son was actually charles? if so where is he now? doese the goverment have him hidden. they said she was a grandmother now.wonder if she has nightmares or relapse of them days.so it would be safe to say the mansion blood line still lives on ?
very good movie. the scariest movies are usually the ones that are based on true events. but if anyone deserved the death sentence it was definately them after doing what they did without any remorse or anything, sharon and them had no reason to die so young
jeremy davies was perfect for this role. he's really good at playing off center characters. i also read this book a few years ago and this movie did a good job.
This is a pretty good movie. But to be perfectly honest I prefer the older version. This is a horror movie in every sense. You know what they say the best scary stories are the true life ones. And this is one of the scariest true life story Ive ever seen. It is a very sad fact to know that these things really did happen and that their are people out there in this world that are sick enough to do something like this to another human being. It just goes to show you that you can never be to careful when it come to the safety of your family and yourself.
This is the most incredible version of this story I've seen , the acting and characters were amazing.Whoever did the casting for this did a fantastic job. What a shame they abolished the death sentence. If anyone deserved the death sentence it was these freaks, and the sad part is they are still alive and well living off the taxpayers money.
I read the book for this a few years back, and I was terrified at the thought of who and what Charles Manson was and everything that happened within his Family. This movie portrays that all over again. 5 stars.
This is a great movie, I loved it from start to finish.
The actor who played Manson had him down cold.
The DA was played by one of my favorite actors the late Bruno Kirby.
If you are to young to remember this watch this movie it's are close as you'll get to the truth with out talking to someone who was there at the time.

Very powerfull film.The best manson film ive seen.alot better than "the manson family" The actor who plays charlie was great and got everything down to the way he talks perfect.

Really found this movie intresting and well done. The actor that plays Charles Manson is brilliant, he imitates his style of speech, character and that look, that stare he gives with his eyes to chilling perfection. If you are interested in what took place all those years ago with Charles Manson and his Family and the crimes, then this is an insightful and great movie to watch. 5 out of 5!!
