Home Alone has a rather thin plot but makes up for it with all that cartoon-like violence. Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern give wonderful performances and are the best thing in this movie. Macaulay Culkin is an okay actor, nothing special, but okay. Home Alone is best watched during the holidays. That is when it can be most enjoyed.

i used to watch it when i was like i dunno maybe 10 yr old and i'm now 25. 15 yrs pasted and nvr thought about it and now i finally can bring back those beautiful memories of joy when i was a kid. no matter how old this is and no matter how old you grown up and when u watch it again you go back to be alittle boy.

haven't seen in years,watched with my son who loved it thought it was the funniest thing ever lol which made it even better to watch for me very good movie a fav of mine when I was younger :) 4/5
brings up good memories..but looking back on this as an adult, the sheer number of things that could have killed these men would have landed the kid in jail :)
I still love this movie, I used to watch it every day on VHS after school then homework. I know it verbatim, never gets old. Home Alone 3 and 4 stink like week old garbage. Waste of time.
