Just an embarrassment to the original Vincent Price movie. It's just a pointless slasher that uses wax instead of a chainsaw or a machete. And it has Paris Hilton in it. What reasons would you have to want to watch this?
So apparently nobody in this thread realized this was a remake. As is pretty much all movies these days. Rob twisted it a bit, but its pretty much the same movie, with a couple variations here and there. Good movie, though.
I actually really enjoyed this movie, it was a lot scarier than most people had made it out seem. Something different and creative, unlike any horror movie I've ever seen. Definetly worth a watch.
this film is great to watch for those who love to make fun of paris hilton. she was SO stupid in this, it was driving me nuts, but i was a little entertained by it. at least i got some laughs. she can't act even if her life depended on it. but i found the rest of the cast great. this movie was really good too. loved it. definitely going on my playlist. and there should be a sequel if you saw it all the way to the last scene. wheree is the sequel? :(
This was a pretty good movie, the acting was standard, the killers bo/vincent were awesome! To me Vincent was like the next Michael/Jason type of character! Carly was hot! lol and I went,"OWNED! when Vincent speared Paris through the head, that was sick!
in my opinion this movie wasnt scary, it had its few jumpy parts but that was it. i thought this movie was more funny than anything.. but thats jus me. its was a good movie tho 3/5

when Paris is running she doesn't even close her jacket. It look stupid, like she want to be sexy when she's running. And what's with her fake looking "I'm so scared, plz save me!" face?!
I love the fact that everything

is made of wax. And the way it's melting down and stuff.
As a child I always was fascinated (not in a psycho way) by wax and it's fact that it transforms so fast when it gets hot or cold.
Mm, I watched it and didn't give it an 8.7 out of 10, because I gave it a 10.
And it's not meant to be secretive who the killer is..That's the idea..It's just the kills.
Acting was good in my opinion.
And uncreative? LOL! I think it was VERY creative, because waxworks, come on, not that expected in a movie.
After I watched this it became one of my favorites. It made me jump a few times and I hate that people are saying that this is not scary because if it does not make you jump at least once then there is something seriously wrong with you. You should definatly watch this. I hope they make another one because the ending kind of suggested it.
interesting concept of wax art..freaky & disturbing. But the streaming was almost as painful as being melted - esp the last 15 minutes when you're just anxious for it to end - & it never seems to. the mega is good - you just have to wait as usual.
Better than I expected. Although it has a few cliches along the way, it's pretty different from the usual.
Slow but good start..plenty of time for character development; I actually liked how things played out in that area..

the events that occurred ended up bringing the brother and sister closer together at the end.
Some very good kills and gore.
Overall, a good watch. 4/5 stars.
this is one of the most boring so called "scary" movie I've ever seen in my life! Paris Hilton is not the actress type either so it doesn't make it any better that she partisipate in the movie.. 2/5 for me.
