Excellent! Fantastic! Amazing actors i mean Sean Penn and Dakota Fanning were just great! I cried like a baby and i mean seriously if you dont cry in this movieyou dont have a soul. One of the best tearjerkers i have seen in a long time.! And Samis just so adorable, a great father and an amazing friend.! 9.7/10
This is a great Movie..Sean Penn is 100% percent brilliant..Dakota fanning was adorable..N Michelle Pfeiffer was amazing..this movie makes me cry every time i see..Worth watching!!
this is an incredible movie, and Sean Penn delivers an amazing, heartfelt performance that is just a tearjerker to the max. i cry every time i watch it!

i really didn't like the foster parents, they didn't get that she was just a kid that wanted to be with her dad! i loved it when she asked Lucy if she wanted a snack, and Lucy just takes it to eat it in her room instead. although the foster mom did realise her dad was willing to her everything he could. that was nice.
it takes guts for Dustin Hoffman playing Rain Man, Tom Hanks for playing Forrest Gump Sean Penn for playing Sam. These actors have huge guts for playing mentally challenged characters, & this movie is just incredible.
a tear jerker that brought coolness to my eyes. Sean penn is indeed a living legend, Dakota acts far beyond her age. Fascinating to the core. True love emerges from the heart, not from physical appearance nor mental intellect. Couldn't get better and words cant describe this movie 150% more than anyone would expect!! a must watch indeed
Great acting by all three. Penn does a great job, but I think Pfeiffer's role should have been made a little more professional and helpful in getting custody back. I have to ask myself, would I hire someone as an atty that is as loopy as she is in this movie? Yet she states she never loses? She did nothing in getting custody, it was Penn's love for his daughter in showing no one could love her like he did.
Sean Penn is my fav actor, he was amazing in this film. He should have got an Oscar for this. The music is great, so is the screenplay. I highly recommend it.
