Wow just clint being clint. I tend to like these sort of things more then the westerns. I think it's cool to see where he came from VS. where he is now. The movies just seemed to get better and better! So good stuff.
Barrack Obama is a dummy president..he is a good man who wants to do good to the people but the pathetic politicians made him a pubbet without any power otherthan the title, The President..God save America..
I've seen most of Eastwood's movies, but I think this is the one that tops them all. The plot, dialog, action, drama, suspense, settings..everything works like a Swiss clock.
John Malkovich played brilliantly the role of the psychopath (Mitch Leary) who attempts to assassinate the President of the United States in California. He was so good, I almost believed he was a real CIA killer or "Wet Boy" as they are referred to.
At this very moment, the Secret Service must be going crazy organizing the protection of President Elect, Barak Obama, for the Inauguration Ceremony next Thursday. I'm sure a wacko up there could be thinking about killing the first Afro-American elected President.
I tip my hat to the members of the Secret Service who are willing to put their lives on the line to protect the Commander in Chief.
Excellent film, that honors the film industry of Hollywood. Please go see it.
ok, clint eastwood as we know made his name in western movies. so if you're a hardcore clint fan BECAUSE of those particular movies then this isnt for you. however if you enjoy a decent script, good actors and moments to literally die for then you'll find this very entertaining.

the movie i do agree with others revealed who the assasin is way early they could of done it differently where they build up throughout the suspense and reveal him at the end. but on the other hand they redeemed themselves here as the killer still even though we knew who he was avoided fbi tracers, used disguises and mentally tortured agent frank over the phone!!.
This movie is oké, but nothing more. Just another "omg, they're gonna kill the president" movie. I guess Clint Eastwood should stick by the westerns.. cause this is not his thing
