The actress Nikki Grace is invited to perform the role of Susan Blue as the lead actress of the movie "On High In Blue Tomorrows", directed by Kingsley Stewart. Nikki's husband is a jealous guy and the co-star is the wolf Devon Berk that will perform Billy Side, the husband of Susan. In the rehearsal, Kingsley tells that the movie is a remake of an unfinished and damned Polish production where the two lead stars had been murdered. While shooting the movie, Nikki has daydreams, mixing her real life with the fictional Susan.
Totally bizarre , this is pure undiluted , unrestrained David Lynch . People either love it or hate it ..there is no middle ground with his movies . I love them , they are not for everybody . If you are used to or need easy to follow , easily laid out plots , meaningful , linear, normal and one meaning only movies this is not for you ..any of his movies. So why bother watching and commenting . His movies are meant to be bizarre , strange , nonlinear , almost meaningless ,fantasy or dreamscape kinda movies . To say you don't get it or it " sucks" is pointless ..go back to hollywood where everything is nice and simple.
This was one of the worst all together movies I have ever seen. In my opioion! And as an actor/director myself, a movie must have parts and those parts (NO MATTER HOW ABSTRACT) must flow/make sense.

Creepy, funny, haunting, and utterly confounding, INLAND EMPIRE is a dark trip through the axons and synapses of the imagination, with the sort of ending that can only happen in a movie - or a dream.
A surrealistic, psychological thriller directed by David Lynch, it was reminiscent of Mulholland Drive. I found the disjointed series of surreal scenes rather confusing at times but in spite of that it was a good story line. I give it 3/5.
This movie is possibly one of David Lynch's best, it was the scariest movie next to Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. Laura Dern gives a bone-chilling performance, I don't think I've ever seen her in anything I haven't loved..
Anyway.. If you love disturbing, twisted movies that kind of make you feel uneasy and unsure about what's really going on.. Watch it..! You won't be disappointed..
david lynch is amazing as always in his directing abilities, crazy movie is all I can say.. leaves you feeling confused disturbed and haunted as usual with his films..5 stars
No one can give you so much emotion in colors, movements, lines in furniture, walls, etc, and sounds with and without music. He is fond of moving the audience from English to a foreign language without notice and still maintaining your interest. However, his zig zagging storytelling style can be trying. This is not his best work. I dozed several times before the ending and still got it, but way too much zagging.
