Could someone please help me find the 2007 Joshua? The movie that littlemissred mentioned. I watched a completely different movie. However, the kids name was Joshua..but completely different storylines.
The one I watched consisted of a family just having a new baby and the brother, Joshua, being jealous of the baby and it goes on from there not to spoil anything. It was a pretty decent movie. Nothing unique..the child reminds me so much of the main child lead in the omen and the movie whisper it's just put into another storyline. It all gets old.. 3/5
I recommend watching whisper over this. It's a lot better version

Version 1 doesn't work. Version 2 is the actually movie but it stops 7:00 minutes in and the other versions are some movie about a retarded boy who fell on his head a few times to many when he was younger.
Unfortunately I won't get to watch the movie I wanted to watch..

I googled this movie and this is the synopsis of the one here, but there is another "Joshua" (2007", the one I saw and rated.
This is a low-budget flick that is already disturbing and creepy long before it actually even gets to the meat of what's going on. Three young men, who have a secret in their past that they share, are brought together in the same town again after the father of one dies and he returns for the funeral. Talk about dysfunctional families, too, sis is pretty wasted a lot of the time, apparently, and Uncle Tom, well, he carries a case full of cutting implements, and even gets frisky with his niece, wow. At any rate the secret these young men share is something to do with a foundling they took into their care and raised up in a cabin in the woods (and named him Joshua) until they decided that what they were doing had gone too far (by far) and they torched the place to be done with it. But one of the three wasn't having any of that and apparently none of the three went unaffected by what they had done later in their lives, which is now, while you're watching, and it's not pretty. For the most part, despite the low budget, this is excellent and the acting is good, and it's creepy and disturbing far beyond anything else that's come out in recent memory. An independent film will worth seeing if you're a horror fan. 9 out of 10.
Total suspenseful movie with a pretty sick and twisted little boy. Kept me interested throughout the entire movie, If you pay attention to the ending, you'll know why he did it...still sick and twisted tho.
It was an o.k. B rated movie which had some potential. I did not care for the acting other than the two main characters whom also had potential (Kelby and his fiance). 3.5/5 and that's being generous. Hopefully, if they make a part 2, which it was left open for, they will be able to put more money into it and it will be better than this one.
got a "bug splat" from my virus protection from version 1; so closed, restarted..then went to veoh direct to watch this.

Sounds like there are different movies. The one I watched was about a guy who goes back to his hometown after his father dies in prison, and his secret past comes back to change his future. (2006) Version 1 Veoh. Pretty sick. Can't say I've ever seen anything like it. Good at 420. Rated it a 3 for originality and WTF?!-ness.

This movie was creepy and interesting at the same time. If you liked The Omen, or maybe the number 23, then you'll find this movie to be interesting to you. I'm still not sure how i feel about it. off the top of my head i'd rate it a 4/5 on the creepy meter.
after the thousands of movies i have seen i had despaired of finding an original idea, this was finally it!! sick, twisted, only watch this if you have a strong mind and stomach lol. i give it 4.5/5 for originality and twisting my guts a bit. {disclaimer} of course there have been some great original movies..but rarely in the B format like this one.
I watched this movie on tv just right now, That little boy is perfect for the role, he looks crazy lol. The ending was terrible, the little boy was seriously messed up and it only frustrated me that noone but the father new what was going on, I don't see how noone could see the evilness in that little boy. I give this movie a 2/5
The display picture is a different movie called Joshua. The display picture is about two brothers who were borned stuck together and one brother was fully formed but the other brother was just a pile of meat with a face attached to the side of his brothers stomach. They did a surgery and the both brothers survived, however the two were used to being so attached that the brother with a body kept his brother that was a pile of meat and a face in a basket. The disformed brother would get jealous when his brother would bring a girl to the house so he would go on a killing spree. That movie is way better than this joshua movie!! WAYY BETTERR!!
sorry! typo on the wrong movie. The movie i was talking about was basket case, anyways since I'm here this movie joshua was sick like in an "OMG' way i thought it could have been better. And basket case is a must see..Search and watch! Enjoy!!
i was reading your post and said to myself that's basket case you're talking about so yes.now wish one is the other joshua you were saying? or was it the basket case ? sounds like garbage to me lol..basket case was a good movie joshua sucks!!
The actors were all superb. The boy playing Joshua acted the part really well. I really enjoyed the movie and for those who are confused about the ending, just listen to the words of the song he sings at the end; it answers it all.
umm way too long .. um didnt keep that intrested ,,theres two different joshua movies.. the first one is kinda wierd.. and the second was a little less wierd.. but hey.. idontknows.. so umm no on these two..
your right way way too long. the movie was lame and weird it seemed to go on for like eight hours i could not make it through to the end with out falling asleep.
