PLEASE ignore all of the comments regarding this one as "'the weakest of the 3." they give the FALSE impression that this ADDITION to the JP series isn't WONDERFUL under it's own merit, when in fact it is!! this one is basically the first one WITHOUT the slow build up (obviously not necessary the 3rd time around), quite a few more interesting dinosaurs, IMPROVED CGI, lots more heart pounding action, and a little dose of comedy to boot! Take away the nostalgia and wonder associated with the first one and this is actually the best of the three. (i enjoyed 2 as well but im a huge jeff goldblum fan lol). if you were a fan of EITHER of the first two films i guarantee u will love this one or your money back! lol.
I haven't seen JP1 and JP2 But I think this one was great. The story was stunning and so the acting..Sam Neill did a great job is this movie. A lotsa fun to watch 4/5
This film wasn't as monumental as it's predecessors but of course veteran director Steven Spielberg didn't return for a third time around but still a very good movie.
I love all the jurrasic park movies i grew up with them and just recently went to universal studios and went on the jurrasic park ride.. these are great films i have enjoyed over the years as a kid and i hope they make another.
movie was crap, only watched to see the dinosaurs eat sum ppl, plot was completely stupid n pointless, just hungry 4 money from the series, rele a boy on the island n have 2 rescue, stupid, 1 and 2 r so much better
I didn't apreciate the movie. The plot is always the same, no surprises at all. The new thing is that there's just a bigger dinosaur. Can't beat the classic T-rex if you ask me.. The acting is allright, the special scenes ok too, but on the overall, it is just a pale remake of jurassic park I. 4/10
this film is not that bad :\ i think the first JP was generally a good classic, JP2 was something a little different n in my opinion i thought it was better than the 1st JP. JP3 was kind of a boring story line you know kid gets lost on a dinosaur infested island, people go to rescue him but something bad happens so they have to find a way of getting out without being eaten *yawn* 4/10
I loved ALL of these - even though the first was(and usually is) the best - they are ALL great. Ground-breaking and the FX were the bomb for the time produced - still hold their own today. Very life-like - totally sucks you into thinking about how life was in the time of the dinosaurs - got me anyway. Family friendly and lots of action from credits to credits., Well done!! 5/5
This was a terrible film. The script was poorly written; the plot was weak and unoriginal; and the music: the once beautifully majestic themes by John Williams reduced to the orchestral equivalent to Muzak.
I think William H. Macy and Tea Leoni were poor choices. If this more a dramatic film and less an action one, perhaps he would have performed well. Tea Leoni, on the other hand, is just not a very good actor.
I will give Sam Neill and Alessandro Nivola credit. They are very talented actors who were still able to add something to this film, despite the poor writing.
It is also interesting to note that while Spielberg was an executive producer (one of five), he appears to have had little involvement. Had he, the result would have an exponential improvement.
Overall, I give it 3/10, mostly because of Neill and Nivola.

Being a HUGE fan of the first 2,this one is hugely dissapointing.
I think the single most stupid part is when the raptor breaks the guys neck. They could have had him sink his teeth into the guy but nope. They had to make it stupid. The last thing a raptor would do is eat the guy. There was a certain amount of fear that the first 2 brought that this one didn't bring.T-rex's,raptors,and spinosaurs aren't even a threat if
