I dont care what no one says for this film, its the truth and i live it..i been in situations just like this so them there that say its dumb and fake should keep the comments to themselves. i rate this film highly and think them that wanna cuss and judge need to see what we going through
This film was really good, I'm from London and this .. does happen, its not about being a badman tho its about being smart enough to realise what people you can ****** with and what people you cant. Great film the actors were amazing. 9/10 Must see .. (better then the second one aswell)

good movie. i see a lot of people aruging about it. like with americans. whats the point man, they may not get this stuff beacause they dont have a real education on what england is realy like (its like the film). and im not trying to be an american hater. its just a fact. because america is a masive place. and they lern alot about there own contry and not alot about any others in fact.
I think if you're American you won't understand this film, literally and morally and that's why you'd think it's terrible.
Being from Central London myself I understand the film. The actors are actually very good and realistic, believable characters. Some of the characters are very tongue and cheek and I can imagine that people wouldn't understand but you can't take them all for face vaue, even though there are people like that in the real world. The humour in this is underrated.
It's a good story line and has morals to it, you'll understand the morals even more if you watch the follow up to this film called 'Adulthood'.
The soundtrack is good, it echoes the mood within the film and also is exactly the type of music which is listened to by the people that come from these characters' background.
The film's editing is very British which I can also imagine other nationalities to not find very exciting..
i grew up in hell pits and ------ holes like dis i get what these boys are goin thru its a hard life to live just makes u tink about the rest of the boys in the world and how some ppl have to go thru ------ that others dont
Hahah. Y'know, it ain't too bad. Kids everywhere that age wanna be "tough" like that. I'm on the fence with this flick. It's realistic, as my old school was very close to being an exact replica of that. But as a story goes, it ain't half bad. Decent acting, but a little too over the top for me. I give it overall a 3/5, me thinks I'm bein' quite generous.
ONE HELL OF A RIDE FROM BEGINING TO END. SHOCKING AS THIS FILM IS, ITS THE TRAGIC TRUTH ABOUT THE YOUTH OF TODAY, NOT JUST IN LONDON, BUT IN A LOT OF "MAJOR" CITIES ALL OVER THE WORLD. THE SAD FACT IS THAT "DO GOODERS" HAVE TAKEN AWAY ANY USFUL MEANS OF CONTROLING OUR YOUTH, HENCE VIOLENCE AND A "NO FEAR" ATTITUDE NOT ONLY IN SCHOOLS, BUT ALSO ON OUR STREETS. GOOD MOVIE, WORTH THE WATCH, VERY EDUCATIONAL. YOU MAY ALSO WANT TO WATCH "THIS IS ENGLAND" AS THATS PRETTY MUCH ALONG THE SAME LINES AS THIS ONE. 7/10. Good movie, I enjoyed it a lot, I just hope there really aren't any kids out there that are that flat out stupid! I mean those kids didn't even have any common sense, they just lived there lives really loose and that goes to show you why bad stuff happens to you when you act like that. If any kids out there really do act like that this movie is a BIG wake up call for them to get their act together and start thinking. Worth the time to watch for sure, 9/10 4 out of 5 *s.
I do believe that life is much different for the teen of today, in London or anywhere, and this movie did and excellent job capturing this. Gritty, lots of action, and plenty of plot and dialogue to keep one interested until the end. 4/5
This movie was on point. I agree that these things can and are happening all over the world. It def felt like I was watching the British version of Menace II Society and Boyz N Da Hood. It was great and I loved everything about this movie. I highly recommend this film - 10/10
