The murderous Bride continues her vengeance quest against her ex-boss, Bill, and his two remaining associates; his younger brother Budd, and Bill's latest flame Elle.
this movie was too good for words. i've probably seen the kill bill series 20 or more times, and everytime i watch it i see something that i didn't see before.
went to a whole different level after these kill bill movies with me. I think this role is made for her. the second installment she is absolutely flawless. good movie extremely entertaining.
I loved a lot about this movie. The end is a bit too sentimental and a bit of an anticlimax, but it still beats the first part, and the first part was excellent.
[SPOILER]
The character of the kung fu master who trains the bride is a really strong part of this movie. He lends it a supernatural 70's kung fu air
,along with David Carradine as Bill of course.Sorry to hear of his passing,I am too young to have seen him in the Kung Fu tv series of the seventies.
[SPOILER]
The fight between the one eyed chick and the bride is absolutely fantastic. One of the best scraps in movie history
.I strongly recommend watching both and in the correct order, although the way Tarantino laces the story with flashbacks,You could probably tune into while rewinding the film.I Love this film,Uma Thurman is sexy and has real charisma.Tarantno always was good at casting his characters.
I origionally saw this in the cinema a few years back and just had to watch it again.I watched it on movshare and under preferences set it to download to desktop.By far the most reliable site with the best quality.Just make sure to configure your pc accordingly.5 stars
ppl criticize him because they are not open minded everyone makes the same movie 5 different ways and noone says nothin
all qts movies are different from any other just enjoy it and stop bein such a sourpuss
I found this part of the movie to be just as good as the first. It's just the first part had much more action, while the second part was more about resolving the story. Great movie, great acting, great director. 5/5
im not a fan of tarantinos style of movie making - he can take a great plot and direct it awfully with stupid dialogue and a wannabe 70's stance - however kill bill 1 and 2 are OK, worth watching once but recommended to be watched together as it was intended, like a lord of the rings trilogy would be because its the same story split into two halves. also must add that uma thurman didnt look good in the role at all - shes too old and not hot enough to be an action chick!
the dialogue is what makes half of the greatness of his films: he does what he wants and doesnt follow the normal hollywood standards..
uma thurman is perfect as the "action chick" because she has more depth than a polished bimbo girl have. shes a mom looking for revenge! she also brings nuance to the films which fits perfectly into tarantinos style being unconventional. clearly you dont get his style :/
pulp fictcion is the best and kill bill 1+2 his second best
Word Up Bambi, Doom if you can't get Tarantino's great style why watch a movie he makes? His retro style and the way he pieces a movie together is what makes him a genius, and the reason he has a loyal following! Can't wait for Inglourious Basterds!! hehehehehehehe And i might add...Uma Thurman was perfect part for the movie, very attracive (natural without all the make up that most need), great actress, and she doesn't look like the barbi bimbos in James Bond movies. It was a very innovative decision on the part of Tarantino.
This is a great follow-up to the first volume. I loved every minute of it and I still think that this film is a piece of art. I think the best done films I have ever seen.
I thought this was an excellent follow on from vol 1 but agree that vol1 had more action this one was more about the story and how everything came to be but thought it was excellent and well worth watching !!
[SPOILER]
Glad she got to meet her daughter at the end finished the film of nicely
Superb follow-up to the first. Quentin really shows in this one, that he can provide much more than just blood soaked violence. Wonderful story, script and a perfect cast: Uma Thurman, Daryl Hannah, Michael Madsen and the late David Carradine (R.I.P).
A 5 star film.
The Japanese film "Lady Snowblood" (1973), which served as inspiration for QT's "Kill Bill" series, is also worth looking into.
Good continuation of the story but not as exciting and action packed as the first. As in I find myself watching Kill Bill: Vol 1 on DVD way more than this installment. Maybe the first part had me spoiled and I was expecting too much from the second. Still pretty good way to end the tale. 3.8/5
The second installment kinda kicked back on the bloody action scenes and rather draw out the film with a bunch of conversions but other then that, a really good follow-up.
Movie Fun Fact: This movie was intended to be one whole film but director Quentin Tarantino thought this project was so good he had to split it into two parts.
I have to disagree with someone. I think this part makes balance by calm evrything down, after the first one wth non stop chaos.
Both of them are fantastic masterpieces with bloody action.
