A very good, unexpectedly original movie which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I think tighter directing could have made a couple of the surprises more surprising

they made such a big deal out of her answering her phone, it was obviously gonna blow up or something. Although I didn't expect a bullet
. I also think they could have done a little more with the ending

I was half expecting Fox's tie to start tightening around his neck (like the spy had told them about) while he watched his daughter on stage. Just let us see it tighten a couple of clicks then cut to the credits. I reckon that would have been a cool twist.

I'm being ultra critical there though as it was a very good movie.

I'd have loved it if the "Good" guy had died, which he did, but in the fall toke him, his family and every around with him. It felt like he got all dumb and not planned for him to find out in the ending, kind of ruining his whole image of being suprime master mind. I'd have liked it to end like Silence of the Lambs maybe, or just some other kind of "They -didn't- live happily ever after
Alright movie, crappy ending, all in all an alright movie. Half was good, last 20 mins was annoying and stupid.
Worth a watch 3/5. It wont get more then 3, cause of the ending, change it and it may make alot of people happy.
A seriously awesome movie. Gerard Butler never fails to convince you of his roles. I was on his side through the whole movie.

Jamie Fox would have gone to the furthest extent of the law if it were his family that got killed. He only did what was good for his career, and he paid the consequences for that. But I would rather have seen his character die than Gerard's.
but still, it wasn't brilliant. The first 60mins of the movie are awesome, with shocks & twists u just don't see coming. Then the rest of the movie just descends into the typical Hollywood action movie fare. To the majority of people this film will delight you, and rightly so, but if you're looking for something with a bit of a meatier ending to it, this might (and I say MIGHT) disappoint. Still, 3.5 out of 5 tho. Well worth watching!
Been meaning to watch this one for a while but never got round to it until now - glad i did, it was superb. Great action movie from the start. Ending was not what i expected but still dont be put off. I enjoyed the original storyline, sharp acting from both Fox and Butler - will most definately be adding this one to my DVD collection - Awesome 4.5/5
Law Abiding Citizen has been for me a film which I could not second guess the next move as the script and plot was original and very exciting.
I must say that I have never seen a film with this kind of storyline before as it was not about revenge or at least that’s what we are told!..(sarcasm)
The film is extraordinary in its ability to entertain and for me that what a film is all about.
What a film, great story although started off a little slow but only for about 5 minutes then goes hell for leather the whole way. great film, great plot, great acting, one of my favorite films ever this one!. 10/10
This was a really good film! Definitely worth the watch, I'll probably be adding this to my collection. 5/5 although I was hoping for a different ending.
