I can't resist a David Lynch movie as never have i seen one that didn't take my mind on a ride that was incredibly twisted with creative delight! I will watch this one many times and it's going directly onto my playlist! As others have said you have to be a fan who enjoys mind bending thoughts and pay attention to every move, nuance, look and word or you will be totally lost! But for me this is a 5/5 easy!
This movie turned out to be completely different than i expected it to be. The story has so many multilayers that you end up metamorphised, i totally loved it. It is a bit difficult movie, and begins where it ends, and then u need to watch it again, to fully understand it. I think one of the best of David Lynch movie, fantastic acting, great cinmatography. I have to disagree with everyone who says this movie is crap. Very likely it was much of a brain work for them...!!
Good for a lynch film, even though, to me he is one of the most over rated directors of all time.. Why the industry will throw millions at him, when Altman or Herzog or even Orson are tossed aside, is beyond me,,
One of the best movies ever made,by one of my favourite directors the genius that is David Lynch(my other favs are Cronenberg,Gilliam & Besson).Most people will find this movie difficult to understand.This is a film for dedicated Lynch fans only,you have been warned!! 10/10.
If you want to get into a movie, and really pay attention, you will enjoy this film. If you want to be a drone and not interact on an intellectual level, then skip this one. I will not offer my "take" on this, watch and come up with your own meaning, seems as though all others have done this. I did enjoy this film, and will revisit it several months from now and see what I "get" out of it then. I feel you will pull from this film the events happening in your own life at the time you view it. Enjoy!!
bit hard not to get annoyed because of some weird twists..
I liked the beginning-some very nice scenes, funny characters..but still prefer mulholland drive
If you like David Lynch like I do, you will like this movie. I can guarantee you that it is not going to make sense at least the first couple of times you watch it. David Lynch movies are very difficult to understand and or explain. I give this on a 3.5/5, it is not his best work. If you like this I will also recommend Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, and Eraserhead.
you could watch this a million times and have different theories everytime.. thats whats great about david lynch.. he likes to keep us all guessing.. check out Mulholland Drive its crazy
