The beginning of the movie was boring, and I'm the sort of person who likes to be hooked from the beginning. It was also cliche and predictable. Worth a watch for some eye candy (Aaron Eckhart!) :)
Nothing to get excited about, it was average. Jennifer is obviously great, and it is a nice romance movie with a sad twist. I didn't like the connection between love and death, as the movie deals with death. Other than that, what story was there to say it was romance that touched on your emotions? Not much, really!
I think a guy on this site found the movie boring and slow. I do agree (and I'm a woman!). I love Anniston, really, but the movie just didn't do it for me. It was very very hard to get through and I gave it the benefit of the doubt (mainly because of Anniston). Would not recommend it. It's not a must see movie. What a dissapointment!
I wish it did happen again, but I'm too scared to get continuously heartbroken now. I have lost too many loves/friends, but one thing a guy was told in this movie by the main character was the death of his son ended up being the death of him. That really sunk in & hit home for me. Somehow that has happened to me through the loss of my dad to death, the loss of my best friend/ex-fiance, the loss of some great friends, my one and only son flying the coup/empty nesting and my Mum elderly. I am grieving it all. We all need to learn somehow to move on from loss, no matter how great we have loved and lost. And let me remind everyone it is NOT immediate, and it IS a process so don't ever tell a grieving person to just move on unless you've been there, and if you have, you will know something much more compassionate to do, not necessarily say, as hugs are healing and loss must be worked through all the stages a wound does not heal overnight; you can end up stuck anywhere in between rawness & shock, numbness, grief, depression, anger or denial, fear, bargaining, whatever. Somehow even though we don't think we can or will, if you are willing to be totally honest with yourself and get some worthy/skilled support, you can get through this process, even though you don't believe it at the time. No-one gets through this world we call life alone & thats the great humbling thing about it all. Now I haven't told you anything about my thoughts on the movie, but suffice to say I'm glad I saw it because it had that one point/pearl of wisdom in it that I will think over and try to learn from..it would maybe even be a 2nd watcher for me at some stage again..

Angelina Jolie is beautiful as well with the airbrush and makeup..not very beautiful Naturally but Jen is very beautiful even without the enhancements!

this movie was soo slow and boring!im sorry but theres no way a guy could enjoy this movie,im actually surprised that some girls so ! lol anyways jennifer aniston should go back to what she does best wich is tv sitcom!! this movie is pure 100% utter garbage! i usually give a 1/10,but not this time ..0/10 ! dud
The story line has promised, but just doesn't seem to go anywhere. It seems as though the director had a goal in mind and just never delivered. Jennifer is as she is in each film; believable, constant, and you just can't help but root for her. Aaron is as always; great. The friend/Agent/Mgr was the highlight of the film. It just ran flat the entire time, I just watched hoping something would happen either way, to take me up or down..It never did. I give it a 3/5
I liked this movie even though the story line was quite depressing but also a part of life. As far as the bird, come on people, it is a movie, no reason to get upset! The bird came back!! Good movie, great acting!! It's worth a watch!
Many say it was boring and slow. I happen to think it was refreshing and just right. This movie is pretty much saying that even after the worst happens, you will always find love and or beauty in everything. Death is a part of life and you cannot control it. All you can do is move on from what happened and live your life. The plot of the story is great. The cast was great and worked well with each other. I would definitely recommend it. 5/5 stars!
