A case of mistaken identity lands Slevin (Josh Hartnett) into the middle of a war being plotted by two of the city's most rival crime bosses: The Rabbi (Ben Kingsley) and The Boss (Morgan Freeman). Slevin is under constant surveillance by relentless Detective Brikowski (Stanley Tucci) as well as the infamous assassin Goodkat (Bruce Willis) and finds himself having to hatch his own ingenious plot to get them before they get him.
a very "c" plus want a be version of the "USUAL SUSPECTS"..not a terrible movie..but a woven mosaic of very unlikely circumstances..somewhat of a stretch at times..but for someone who wants to see a truly great crime/drama/thriller..nothing compares to the "USUAL SUSPECTS"!!
2nd time I've seen this, still a brilliant movie. Well written, perfectly paced & inspired directing. An all star cast with a memorable performance from Ben Kingsley. Classic!! 9/10.

Way overrated by all the comments I have been reading. This is your average Hollywood film with an unbelievable plot. Bruce Willis phoned in his cameo.
Highly entertaining film. Smart plot with a top notch twist; one of the best I've seen in a while. Great acting from a star-studded cast; Bruce Willis was so cool in this one, and Kingsley and Freeman are always a comforting sight.
Well worth the time invested..5/5 stars.
I miss Hollywood making movies like this. No remakes, just pure originality at its best. Hence the reason why I watched it so many times. It was clever, funny, and made your mouth gape open near the end. It completely threw me off! I wasn't expecting the end at all. I think I may watch this again. It's a great time surpasser(not a word but after completing 16 levels of education who cares, lol).
