I was surprised by the conclusion. I didn't see that coming.
I guess for once the ball didn't need to bounce over the net for him to win.

I get it.
The title of this movie is horrible. It doesn't really pertain to anything about the movie really cept the fact that the guy use to play tennis! There could be so many other titles for the movie other then Match Point lol. The movie wasn't on of the best that i have ever seen. It is not overly emotional and a little bit placid. The ending was weird, I thought it was

going to be set up that he was going to get caught because of the "ghosts" coming to say what they did but it turns out he just gets away with it for being careless!
Oh well i guess, worth watching if you are into the sort of movies that are more of a "low budget" sort of lesser known sort of style like the Visitors or Lars and the real girl.
I really liked everybody in this film. Scarlett Johansen was the typical spoiled brat american girl. It tells you alot about the british class system also. Very thrilling, recommended it to any1 but young children and old ladies who don't like sex scenes!
Because of the cast and the rating it has on this site, im sure alot of the people who decide to watch it are looking for a steamy romance or something, which is a shame, because its so much more.
It explores the depts of chance and nihilism in its absurdist of forms: lust.
pheww! what a wild ride.. you begin to feel sorry for the poor man early on and its hard to let that go. good movie but still tragic and a terrible situation! i don't know if i could see it again though!
This is one of those movies that go beyond the affair. It shows the ups and down of cheating on your spouse. The end was a little bit shocking but there are no boundries when you love somone. This movie rated 8/10, for its entertaining parts LOL. You will see what I mean expecially the ladies.
but looking back at the movie there is so much foreshadowing of what to come.

meyers is shown reading crime n punishment and the story has parllels w/ the novel. i loved how the whole concept luck and just having the world the way it is.. no reasoning no equation is superbly shown.
