Ok, so I have not read the comic - if that is the origin of this story.. I was surprised at the result of the search for the wings and flying stuff.. almost enough to say a spoiler, lol. The graphics and the determined search made for some strange bed fellows indeedy.. well, if there are more movies after this one, then I would watch. 6/10.
Pretty good movie overall,but it could have done with more action/bullet time sequences.Also,more Mona would have been nice,her sister was way sexy.Wasn't she in 007 Quantum of Solace?
At least Max doesn't look like he needs to take a .. anymore.

I have never played the Games and I did like it.It could have been a bit better but I still found it interesting,different and entertaining was worth my watch 4/5
Just poor garbage The film is loosely based on the video game of the same name developed by Remedy Entertainment in 2001. The number of differences between the game and the film caused the CEO of 3D Realms and producer behind the game, Scott Miller, to make a public statement against the film. Miller did not approve of the fact that the film's audience does not know why Max is seeking revenge. A flashback scene where Max finds his family murdered was right at the beginning of the game but in the film it was shown mid-film. He was also surprised that one of the story's main villains, Jack Lupino, is killed by Hensley where in the game Max finishes the job personally.
Many people were confused by the addition of the demon creatures. Though Valkyries are from Norse mythology, a theme throughout the game, they are not actually in it. The film has a much larger element of the supernatural than the game as it was never revealed in the film if they were part of the hallucinations. Max takes the drug in the film to prevent the onset of hypothermia. However, in the game he was forced to take it by Nicole Horne and left for dead.
THIS MOVIE IS BORING AS HELL!! THE LITTLE ACTION THEY DO HAVE, AND YES I SAID "LITTLE" IS HOLLOW AND SOMEWHAT WITHOUT REASON, AND IN THE PLACES WHERE IT SCHOULD COUNT IT'S RUSHED AND EVEN MORE POINTLESS. BY THE WAY, FOR A MOVIE ABOUT REVENGE, I SURE DO HOPE A FEW FATHERLESS CHILDREN COME GUNNIN' FOR HIS ASS IN THE SEQUEL FOR HIM KILLING THERE SECURITY GUARD DADDIES! I MEAN THEY WERE JUST DOING THERE JOB AND ALONG COMES DRUGED UP MAX BLASTING AWAY AT ANYTHING THAT MOVED! SO BOO! MAJOR CRAPOLA!
It was okay. I expected more out of a movie with Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis.. It's got plenty of action but, the script is hollow and leaves you desiring more.. The game was way better, it could have been a great movie trilogy but, after this one I won't miss any sleep if they decide not to do a second.. 6/10..
i admit i'm not much of an action movie type person but this movie was horrible! no interesting plotline, the acting was horrible, the characters never got me intrigued in their story and the action sucked. I watched Taken with Liam Neeson the night before and that was much better. there wasn't any suspense in this movie and the whole storyline was absolute crap
