In the future, criminals are caught before the crimes they commit, but one of the officers in the special unit is accused of one such crime and sets out to prove his innocence.
Funny enough I am not a Tom Cruise fan either, but I love a lot of different movies he is in. He isn't one of the best actors out there, but he gets roles in some really good movies that have great stories and directors. I think the main thing that turns me off from really enjoying his acting is the fact that he is quite two dimentional with his character acting and he is a scientologist in real life. I just find the whole scientology thing pretty creepy. That's just my opinion though.
Wouldn't it be funny to see him act in a movie about scientology?? roflmao
Well he isn't a character actor like, say, Johnny Depp but the type of actor who always play himself like Michael Caine (although not in his class). He gats by on pure charisma like Schwarzenegger did.
I like this movie, but I believe a lot of the stuff that's in it will happen right here in this country because people care about security more than freedom and privacy which I find to be very scary.
Very thought provoking. Especially with our criminal justice system now. Can a man be guilty if he thinks bad thoughts but doesnt act on them?? I dont know.watch the movie. Good flick.

What's with the Tom Cruise haters? If you like the movie why even mention the fact that you don't like him; if you didn't like Tom Cruise in the first place why even watch the movie? People are so stupid! you are either watching a movie for entertainment, or you are watching a movie based on if you like the actor/actress. Just give the guy a break or just don't watch his movies period. Simple!

its a good movie worth a watch..its kinda dumb in the fact that people are arrested murder or what ever but they didn't do it yet.. so i guess they are all charged with conspiracy to commit murder or criminal intent??
btw tom cruse might be a messed up person but hes still a great actor
Fantastic sci-fi film. Great storyline and an imaginative and very, very cool concept.
Tom Cruise is great in this one, although I'd still say his overall best perfomance is in Michael Mann's "Collateral".
A must-see , in my opinion. 5/5 stars.
A Must-See-Movie for all movie buffs. An awesome movie with all my favorite genres rolled into one. A mystery sci-fi thriller from the pages of the not too distant future. Beautifully shot, with dream like scenes and surreal human behavior. Cruises best film IMO. I've seen this a million times, and it's in all my play-lists. Favorite Movies/Favorite Mysteries/Favorite Sci-Fis. Please., Take a look, and don't forget to vote!! :)
It was quite a awsome movie and a good blend of science fiction and some myth. A poin once again proved that system can be used against itself as well.
