While I don't say who is the exact idiot here for calling someone else an idiot because she is stating her opinion and feels inspired, I think it is perfectly normal to question yourself or other matters after watching a somewhat revealing movie, because that is also ultimately the aim of most films. Saying someone is an idiot for expressing herself over a movie is the same thing as telling someone he is retarded for crying; it's only a movie after all.
Personally, I think you shouldn't judge people on what they are, but what they accomplish.
As a woman, I can't praise this movie enough. This is a thinking movie and I guess only those with high intellect are able to appreciate the true meaning the movie is actually trying to portray.
It makes you really think as an individual and not mimic the "requirements" of society. It makes you question your code of ethics and discover the real you as a woman and the contributions you can actually make to the society apart from being a "child-bearing factory, housekeeper & sex-slave" to a man. I'm not being a sexist and I think being a mother especially is such a beautiful gift that every woman has been endowed with by nature. But that said, there is no reason why women cannot be allowed to put their brains to good use and contribute significantly outside the home.
Hence that is what the movie is trying to say.
Julia Roberts is an A-class actress and she leads a brilliant cast of young and talented women.
I give this movie all the thumbs-up it deserves and a whopping 100/100!

Its a movie! and you could not of been very sure of yourself and who you are, even after having a child that you would write such bull has i would put it. Wow and you call this a 'Master piece'. Also you made a comment stating 'every woman has been endowed' with bearing a child, what planet are you on? Not EVERY woman can give birth to a child, but would that make them less of a woman, or less beautiful in your incompetent views?
Some advice, join the real world and get out a bit more, discover yourself through life, reality, not a movie made from fiction.
This is a real good film, i did thoroughly enjoy this film as i'm sure many people would, it raises questions that have been up for debate for decades now, and even though times have changed some people still find it hard to think out of the box and except this. We will still be faced with diversity, whether it be prejudiced or racist, people still act in this manner even if we have come along way. Society is not the same whereever you go, you will find that culture, faith, desires, and ones own belief can account for many things, some have been raised to belief in such values even in todays world. It is a matter of opinion if one wants to stay at home and be a 'house wife', why should that person be looked down on for having different values to the working mum, not all these house wifes or mums live off the goverment, not to mention the 'stay at home husbands'. There will always be some form of critique regarding such matters..Film is rated at 3.5/5
A Movie That Every Woman Needs Watch With A Daughter, Sister, Niece, Or Cousin
I LOVE watching this movie, it makes you think about society, how far women have come and not have come. It is not a surprise to believe that there are still people (men and woman) who think this way. My thing is what is the difference between stay-at-home-mom and a house wife? Is it just the wording, being political correct? One has education and the other one don't? Someone please enlighten me?
