the first time i watched this i must have been about 9 and didnt really like romances. i watched it with a couple of friends and we re-wound the end over and over when ewan mcgregor howls because we found it so funny. Now, however i find it more interesting than comical value. This film is great and one of my favourites. 5 stars.
Who doesn't love this movie? Very well done, great story line and perfect escapeism. The best movies are those that people can somehow connect to and this story does exactly that: it maintains it's reality whilst allowing you to loose yourself in their world.
I love Moulin Rouge! I love Christian and Satine. I like everything in this movie. [spoiler] I wish Satine didn't die though.[spoiler] No matter how many time i watch this movie her death gets me watery eyes every time. Bravo Ewan and Nicole! Perfect acting.
